For over 35 years, Carey's Custom Woodworking has been owned and operated by the husband and wife team, Carey and Penny Hawes. Over the last 20 years it has become a full family affair. Contacted for a quote and was told that they were "not interested in taking on the job at this time" which I find a bit unprofessional. It was admittedly a smaller cabinet conversion job and they could have said "with the scope of other jobs we have currently, we're not able to take on smaller jobs" or something to that effect, but their response rubs me the wrong way for sure. So don't bother unless you have a full kitchen remodel apparently.
