Dodds Trash Hauling-Recycling

Along with his wife Peggy, parents of 5, and a pick up truck-- started private trash collection for residents in and near Newton, Iowa. Over the past 53 years the pick up truck turned in to a fleet of 18 trucks, and their sons Doug, David, and grandsons Jeff and Eric joined the ever growing business, that to date offeres -- City wide trash/recycling collection if Newton, Kellogg, Lamb Grove and Oakland Acres.

We will make every attempt on your day to make your collection-- we will not proceed where it will take a tow truck to get us out We know this is a huge inconvenience- and stock piling trash until the next week is not ideal-- but is the avenue we must take-- If your road or drive is not clear-- we can not block roads-- tow bands typically are in place-- which means we're blocking roads that need to be plowed.

Tuesday thru Friday rural residents please place your trash out on normal day, collection on holidays week will arrive later than normal possibly be a day late placing out on normal days, allows other crews to help with collection when possible. We apologize for the delay will work diligently to make your collection as quick as possible.

To insure collection of your trash and recycling--Please place your materials on the curb by 9PM. Recycling collection hours start at 9PM and weather permitting should always be collected by Noon the following day.

Trash Collection begins at 5AM and weather permitting should be by 4PM-- Essentially we have been operating these hours, to become compliance with the City Contract the City Council has graciously revised the contract to allow us to continue operations as is.

They very in size- typically 22 to 24 foot long-- 8 foot wide-- taller the sides the more cubic yards the container will hold (see below) -- Dodd's roll off pricing is the same no matter what size is delivered-- first available will be delivered unless a specific size is required. Different styles available upon request.
