IYC has a long tradition of operating a variety of race series and education programs. IYC also hosts district and national regattas where many of our members race at the district and national levels. The IYC Youth Sailing Program introduces young participants to the fun of sailing and an appreciation for Tomales Bay.
The young sailors develop confidence in boat handling and basic water safety skills. The calendar includes all events in one place to get the pulse on the IYC programs and club happenings. Services
Non-members are welcome to come as our invited guest to an Open House on any second Saturday of the month from 5:30 to 7:30 and introduce yourself. You'll meet a lot of friendly folks and probably see several people you already know! The Inverness Yacht Club (IYC) serves as a base for adult and youth activities in the community, both on and off the water.
1. Club facilities are available only to members, their children and invited guests. 2. Members shall keep their lockers and boats in the yard in proper order. No gasoline, oils, open paint cans, or rags are permitted in the building. 3. No property of the Club shall be removed or loaned without the permission of the Board of Directors.
The Membership Application and Preamble thereof should be read in its entirety and filled out completely. While the Club is diverse and has a relationship with the community, it is still a private club which requires election to membership by the Board of Directors. Your application must be sponsored by a current member with two other members signing the application.

List your co-host. We will require a planning party meeting prior to your event to familiarize your team with the facility. If possible, make sure one or two of your co-hosts have never done it before. We need to train new volunteers. Call the Membership chair for help with the names of new members.
