UPDATE 3/1: Mike Szabo reached out to us and is making things right.
He has reworked the design to reflect the sketches we sent Brian. He is also refunding a good portion of the fee. Thanks Mike. The 3 stars reflects the average of Mike-5 stars and Brian-1 star.
Mike Szabo was recommended to us. We got Brian Nierman instead because Mike was busy. Brian seems nice, but his work is late and error-prone. He really doesn't listen to the customer, and seems to not pay attention to what his design will cost. The estimate for an architectural design for a new house was $2,000-$3,000. At $3,700 is when
