Services
Degenerative disc disease is not really a disease but a term used to describe the changes in your spinal discs as you age. Spinal discs are soft, compressible discs that separate the interlocking bones (vertebrae) that make up the spine. The discs act as shock absorbers for the spine, allowing it to flex, bend, and twist.
Most patients that come to see us express the same frustrations about their options for back and neck pain relief. I went to my primary care physician and he did nothing but prescribe me medication. I don't want to take medications that may affect my kidneys, liver, and other organs. So then he referred me to physical therapy.
Most people will, at some point in their life, experience back or neck pain. Many people go under the knife for back surgery thinking that surgery is going to be the magic bullet that fixes all of their problems and that the results will last forever. Dr. Prestin is the man. I went in for numbness/pain in my left thigh that had been bothering me persistently for over 6 years. I honestly thought it was something I would just have to live with. Within a month it’s gotten to the point where I almost don’t even think about it. Can’t recommended Dr. Prestin and his staff enough!

I’ve been coming to Dr. Prestin for 3 years now. I was in a major accident in 2012 and had not focused on fixing my back and it was becoming detrimental to my health. I came to him in 2018. If you haven’t been to see Dr Pestin and his fab team, your missing out. I just completed my first cleanse, with Preston suggested. my intent was not to loose weight but to get a jump start in a better way of eating on a clean slate. Lost almost 8 lbs, it was a tough first two days, but in the end I had more energy. Keeping the weight off and feeling great mind body and spirit!! Thanks Dr Prestin for your encouragement

I over extended my shoulder while working at my home office. The following day I was in severe pain, as if my shoulder and arm were locked because any movement felt terrible. The pain radiated from my back to my neck and shoulder, even to my wrist. After a few terribIy draining days of this exhuastive pain I went to Dr. Prestin and explained what happened. He immediately found the problem area in my back and after one chiropractic treatement I instantly felt much better and had gained my full range of motion. I began seeing Dr. Prestin this summer, based on a friends recommendation. I was having lower spine and hip pain that went unrelieved by rest and ice. Dr. Prestin started with a full exam, ruling out nerve damage. As soon as you enter Dr. Prestin's offices, you can feel you've come to a good place. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing. His staff is friendly and efficient. And Dr. Prestin is easier to talk to than any doctor I've known. He asks the right questions, and is so caring, you feel comfortable right away. When treating you, he's relaxed, sure, with an amazingly soft touch. Personally, I recommend him even if you're not sure you need to see a chiropractor! I was involved in an minor accident back in 2017 and I was carrying neck pain all this time. I had physical therapy but it didn't help me. Last Monday while working out I had 2 ribs which popped out of place. I could not sleep Monday night, nor breath. I saw Dr. Prestin on Tuesday, I normally don't have faith in Chiropractors. I weigh 240 pounds and am not easily adjusted. Within minutes Dr. Prestin moved my Ribs back into place. Not only was I out of pain after 10 minutes in a room with the doctor, I could breath as well. I was able to workout with no pain. I saw DR. Prestin on Thursday for a follow up, to make sure my body held the adjustment. I felt great again. I will now go on a regular basis.

I highly recommend Dr. Prestin based on his amazing knowledge, commitment to patient care and the time he takes with each appointment that I have with him, to explain the issues. He has recommended supplements to help my challenges and inflammation. He has suggested possible referrals, he has extensively reviewed my MRI and X-ray reports and explained the results to me. Dr Prestin has been excellent in all aspects. He’s very attentive towards the issues you bring up to him and is very informative as to what exactly is happening in regards to your back pain . I’ve been dealing with a herniated disc (L5-S1) for quite a while now and decided to seek spinal decompression therapy as treatment . It has vastly reduced my back pain. I highly recommend him.

Not only has he helped me with my initial issue, but through my sessions with him I’ve also had my ankles checked out and renewed. Had terrible ankle problems for years (collegiate athlete), but through 5-6 sessions with him my ankles (and my back) are in great shape!

Hands down, the best Chiropractic Dr I have been to. I have seen many Chiropractors in over the years and I am still impressed at his skill in treating my pain symptoms which started almost a year ago. I highly recommend Dr. Prestin. He explained everything very clear and created a plan of what would be done. He was the only Chiropractor who was able to read my MRI images and show/explain what the problem is and provide options for addressing the issue. I was happy to get improvement with each visit. I am so relieved not to be miserable like I was. I went to several other Chiropractors and one that made me worse and ended up damaging my ribs. Dr. Prestin is amazing how he uses so little force but still gets results.
