Iconic opened in the south end of Detroit's historic Cass Corridor in September of 2015. We specialize in client focused custom tattooing & professional body piercing. Iconic features tattooing by Matt Hessler, Chase aka Fel3000ft, Steve Sype, Robert Casper, & Meghan Mayhem as well as body piercing by Rich Hartwick.

We carry an extensive array of fine body jewelry made from solid gold & implant grade materials, as well as large gauge organic plugs, spirals, & one of a kind hand carved jewelry. Reflecting the highest commitment to client care and sanitary practice, our piercer Rich, as well as the studio environment, has met the requirements for membership to the Association of Professional Piercers.

"The receptionist at the front desk is ethical," she's nice, patient.
I had A problem filling out the form on my phone .I swear I was like computer illiterate. In the end.... everything worked out.
Rich the piercing guy he knows what he's talking about very professional ethical. I love the atmosphere of this place. super clean.💯

Absolute integrity. Sent my 19 Y/O daughter there for an industrial piercing consult. Instead of taking her money, she was told her ear anatomy was not ideal for what she wanted. and she did not get it. (gave tip).

Great facilities and welcoming staff. Chase was awesome. Spent plenty of time with me working on getting the tattoo sized and placed the way I wanted and took over from there. Very happy with the results and would highly recommend.

Going to have my ears Piercings with rich in the last 10 or11 years has been great I really I always to other friends to go see Rich, to somebody else he does an excellent job I'm very satisfied with his work .

Iconic tattoo is a beautiful shop that is extra clean with a wonderful staff. I had the pleasure of working with Casper on my tattoo. He blew my expectations out of the water.
