J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home is a 175-bed facility that opened in 1984 to provide "A Home Away From Home." J. Michael "Mike" Morrow, an attorney by profession, dreamed of establishing a nursing home so that his family and the citizens of Arnaudville would not have to leave the community when nursing home assistance was needed.

Dental Services: A licensed dentist is available to assess and handle dental needs of residents, including new dentures. Licensed Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists: These professionals form a team to assist the residents with their needs.
Moving to a long-term care facility is often difficult. Over the years, we have discovered there are many things family members and friends can do to reduce the physical and emotional stress involved. Send pictures, audiotapes, or videotapes of family events, grandchildren, or friends far away. Check with your resident's nurse to see what types of food items would be appropriate and include them occasionally when you visit.
Cable Television Services are provided with Movies on Channel 31 and the ESPN Channel available in the Dining Room. Visitors feel welcomed when they enter J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home and each time they encounter our friendly staff. Our beautiful grounds provide open spaces for a perfect, peaceful environment.
At J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home we welcome and appreciate all of the wonderful Volunteers who do so much to make our "Home Away from Home" a special place for our residents, their families, and our staff.
