In 1965, Larry Miller started life in the trucking business as a partner in Miller's Transport, a subsidiary of Tri Miller Packing Company. When Thorn Apple Valley purchased Tri Miller Packing in 1982 Larry established L.W. Miller Transportation, Inc. Today he is a successful businessman with a variety of interests both business and personal.
Rex brings a wealth of well-rounded experience into L.W. Miller Companies. As the son of Larry W. Miller, Rex has been in the transportation industry for over 25 years. Rex has worked in many capacities in the company including many years of over the road driving.

Terrible company! Chose this company to transport some dry bulk from Texas, and they delivered the load two days late. The driver arrived not aware of his tardiness, and did not care either. Absolutely not acceptable! I paid too much money for this service, and I will be finding another shipping partner!

I work for them currently and well, first your a name and not some number. Secondly they are genuine people. Meaning what they say, they do. No bs. Third, if you really like to run and I mean run hard, this is the place for you. However if you can't run at least 10k a month don't bother coming here. I run 11 to 12 k a month. Lastly, most if not all drivers here are veteran drivers no steering wheel holders.

Excellent company for drivers. The one negative post on here if you notice is from someone who worked in the shop which is separate from the transportation. I have only been with them for a short time, but have friends who have been here for years. Employee retention is foremost to the transportation division at LW Miller. People would not stay with the company as long as they do if it wasn't a good company to drive for. They only need drivers because of the excellent growth of the company in different markets. Highly recommend this company to anyone looking.

I wouldn't recommend anyone working there unless you are looking for short time employment. I was hired there and was employed there for 1 month so after they was caught up with the cement trucks that occupied the shop bays. When they was done so was I and they made some lame excuse for letting me go. I would also like to add that the manager SCOTT Couldn't even be man enough to talk to me in person about letting me go and called me when I was sleeping from working graveyard shift and left a voice mail so I give them š
