Services
Solar Foundations USA covers the entire east coast from Maine to Florida, a portion of the Midwestern region, and now the Lone Star State. Solar Foundations' approach was to design a structure that was optimized based on the integration of the foundation system, substructure members and the racking components.
Our continued success with growing product demand required us to develop scalable design and installation processes, training programs, expandable manufacturing capacity along with positioning skilled and dedicated key personnel within the company. SFUSA is proud of our team of experienced and dedicated individuals whose capabilities incorporate the diverse needs of our growing clientele across the United States.
Solar Foundations manufactures our Solar Continuous Flight Helical Piles with heavy wall structural tubing followed by hot-dip galvanizing. Our custom ground screws are used for most systems because of their uplift and bearing performance, ease and speed of installation, minimal disturbance to site and soil and the ability to validate pile capacity during installation.
Designed for strength and cost-effective installation, our patented rail design offers a simple connection detail between the panel support rail and the horizontal support beams, allowing 6 modules per column in landscape orientation. The section properties were designed to maximize the strength to weight ratio on all of our systems.
SFUSA's end clamp design securely fastens the top and bottom edges of a column of solar panels to the SF Rail. Solar Foundations' end clamps are engineered for each specific module frame thickness to ensure strength and safety. Each end clamp size has unique markings to permit easy identification. We keep a large supply of our timesaving clamps in stock at all times, accommodating a comprehensive range of frame heights from 30 to 51 mm.
