Hurricane Ida Update: We are happy to report that all of our residents have been safely evacuated to other nursing homes within the state and are safe and sound. Our staff will remain in constant contact with these facilities to ensure a smooth transition for our residents, and we are working hard to get them back home as soon as possible.

If you are interested in admissions, please contact Amy Sprout at 504-321-6555 or email asprout@stmargaretsno.org. Located on the Westbank, just ten minutes from downtown New Orleans, St. Luke's Medical Center offers a warm, homelike environment. We open our arms and hearts to families, working as a team of caring professionals to enrich the fragile lives of aging loved ones.
Services
You deserve New Orleans nursing homes that have maintained a commitment to providing high-quality care for more than a century. The legacy of St. Luke's Medical Center speaks for itself. We've been operating as a care facility since 1889, and we've made great strides over the years, becoming one of the area's premier assisted living centers.
If you're looking for quality services for assisted living in New Orleans, St. Luke's Medical Center offers a comprehensive interdisciplinary team of specialists to cater to our residents' individual needs. Standing out from other local nursing homes, our team consists of some of the best nurses in the community.
Deciding what level of healthcare your loved one needs can be difficult. Choosing the place that is best suited to provide care can be even tougher. We're here to help. If you have questions about St. Luke's, our services, or nursing homes in general, please contact us. Give us a call, shoot us an email, or come visit us in person.
A skilled nursing facility, like St. Luke's, offers security and comfortable care to patients whose needs exceed the capabilities of home treatment and assisted living care. A nursing facility offers 24-hour nursing care and assistance with everyday tasks, including medications. An assisted living center, like Belleville, is a more communal setting that provides residents with limited restrictions.
Saint Margaret of Scotland served the vulnerable, helped to create a community of peace and love, and pioneered religious and social reform in her time. Bearing her name, St. Margaret's has emulated the feats of its patroness in the New Orleans community since 1931. The people we serve at St. Margaret's are more than just acquaintances; they are our friends and neighbors.

It’s not even the workers it’s the poor “management” skills they lack. Nobody wants to work under people who lacks in leadership qualities.. it’ll be great if they had people those who care about their employees, staff, and patients.

I don't want to give them one star. This place is horrible. My father in law was there for 2 months and unfortunately he passed in there. It is dirty, some not all of the staff are awful. We received his belongings about a week later and most of the contents were not his. The health department really needs to pay them a visit and shut them down. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to that place.

This place sucks! I went to this facility after having surgery in order to receive physical therapy, wound care and intravenous antibiotics. A nurse literally BROKE my picc line and I was unable to receive my intravenous antibiotics for several days. I had to return to the hospital to get a new picc line placed and the damaged one removed. Physical therapy is very lax. The therapist kept talking about their gym in the facility. I was never brought to the gym to work out even though I made multiple requests for more aggressive therapy. The food sucks. I would not give my dogs the garbage they serve

This Place is Very Under Staffed and Overwhelmed. There's a Bug Infestation that needs to be addressed as well as the attitude of the Lady Man at the Front Desk. Very Unprofessional and Unwilling to do better. No Eye Contact at all because He was On Face Time. The Facility Director is extremely defensive when complaining to her about her staff and/Or your family Members Neglect and this comes off as Unprofessional. Currently Seeking Alternative Locations to Move My Family Member to.

This place is an absolute dump. My mom was a patient for skilled nursing. The Social worker bates you in with all these new and exciting improvements they're making. LIES!!!! They assure you your loved one will receive the best care. More LIES!!! My mother was left unattended for hours at a time. I would come visit her one day and the next day she had on the same clothes. He room was unkept. Clothes were barely washed although all supplies were provided by myself. Only 2 nurses were very helpful especially Mrs. Monique. Brittany D. the tech was the best. Very sweet personality and cares for the

This is the worst facility ever!! I wouldnt trust these people with care for a plant!! Management and 90% of the staff are horrible and not suitable for a positions where most resident are helpless and require tinder loving care!! The Wound Care Nurse is NOT knowledgeable or well trained and very inconsistent, she will let you decompose (literally) before getting you real help...outside of this hell hole!!! It's unkept and limited on all supplies!! If the owners want this place to survive, this place must to be re-staffed from the bottom up!!! The current staff is running this place in the ground
