The campground is on Patterson Creek which has great fishing, but it's ankle deep so not great for swimming. you're surrounded by the mountains which are beautiful, especially at night. The water is horrible with an incredibly high Sulphur smell and the taste is weird. The sites are all grass. The 50 amp sites are large and new. The waterfront sites are supposed to be 30 amp, but many of the seasonal folks we spoke to said they were lucky to get 22 amps. There's great potential here, but not much for the kids.

I stayed there for the spartan race in glen jean. Started off fine. The price wasn't bad and it wasn't too noisy aside from the cars on the major road nearby. The bathrooms were overridden with bugs and I didn't trust the water spout they had, but I figured I could go elsewhere if I really had to. Then I was coming back to the campground after the race, and I missed a speed limit sign taking it from 25 mph to 8 mph. To be fair to them, it was my fault that I didn't see the sign. But then someone who addressed himself as the manager chased me down in a golf cart. He started threatening to kick me

Owner was awesome!!! The wife and I were on our way to ride the Tail of The Dragon from Michigan and had no plans to end up here. Fun campground with a bar!!! The owner is all for the kids!! And also enjoys accommodating the adults!! Great place to relax, have a few cold ones with some really good people. If your tired of stuffy campgrounds this is a great place to stay with some good old down to earth people!! Thanks again for the great stay. Wish we could of stayed longer. Next time we are out that way this place will definitely be one of our stops!!!
