Husky Haven Campground & Guesthouse
Chemical toilets are on site. Four individual bath houses with hot showers are located behind the guesthouse. Other amenities at the guesthouse are a bike wash, computer with high speed internet and WI-FI, TV, bike repair stand, pool table, table tennis, phone charging station, laundry facilities and potable water fill up. The campsites are nestled on 10 acres of wooded land located between the Great Allegheny Passage and the Casselman River. Each campsite has a picnic table, fire ring, firewood and trash can.
Services
Inspired by the love for Siberian Huskies, Husky Haven Campground began as a dream in 2000 when the land on which the campground resides was purchased and the journey began. As the years went by, the land progressed from a naturally overgrown forest to the current beauty complimenting the Great Alleghany Passage near the Rockwood PA trailhead.
Cost: $15.00 per person per night, children five and under stay free. A nonrefundable deposit down or payment in full in advance is required for a guaranteed reservation. We accept MasterCard, VISA or Discover Card. Pets are welcome at the campground, but cannot be left to run free and must be cleaned up after.

Love this place. Friendly couple runs it. Very clean and well maintained. Plenty of firewood and, other than the passing trains, it is a quiet, peaceful setting.

Nice spot by the river.
Ride over to check in and shower, grab food and a drink on the way back. All facilities are well managed and cared for. I'd happily stay again.

Best campsite on the GAP. I visit every year. The folks who take care of the space are wonderful and so are the doggies. Husky Haven has been such a comfort during the long ride, from the beautiful campsites to the clean bathhouse. I love this spot! They've tended to the wildlife and made a truly comforting place to camp out.

Stayed here one evening with a small contingent of our scout troop. What a great place! The owner stopped by to check on us once we started to get settled in. It was the perfect stop on our short weekend trip on the GAP.

Really nice campground. Clean, nice facilities. You will need some earplugs at night but don’t let that deter you. Plenty of firewood and nice people running the place. You also can’t beat the location—literally right off the GAP trail.
