Established in 2008, ABC Cakes has now been in their downtown Mamaroneck, NY location since March of 2011. The business started out as a family owned bakery focused on cakes and custom desserts for imaginative clients whom pride themselves on going the extra step to be different, memorable and creative - not to mention a great way to show your love to family, friends, guests and relatives.
Owner/operator, Duran Radulovic is a second generation cake baker and decorator; her parents owned Custom Cakes outside of Portland, Oregon for over 30 years. Duran specializes in custom design consultation, private and group classes for children and adults (baking & decorating), and children's cake decorating and baking parties.

We ordered a cake for our son's birthday. Duran was really helpful in putting together a design, combining our suggestions with pictures of our son's favorite toys. The final result was stunning--the comments from the guests at his (virtual) birthday party was that it looked as good as a wedding cake.

ABC cakes is my new favorite bakery! I called at least 5 bakeries and put in email inquiries for my daughter's birthday cake and I wasn't getting any responses! ABC Cakes responded within hours, was courteous, and provided a great rate! Everyone raved about how beautiful her cake was! They brought her favorite show to life for her first birthday!

Cannot recommend ABC Cakes enough! I recently called to order a cake for my friend's birthday and Doran heard all of my thoughts and truly blew us out of the water with how the cake came out. All within three days notice! Not to mention the cake was incredibly affordable including prompt delivery. Will be ordering again!

They were super responsive and really easy to work with! I shared over a few photos of what I was looking for for a gender reveal cake and after calling around a few places in Westchester, they were the ones that allowed me to customize my cake to exactly what I was looking for! Not only did the cake look like the photos (I was very impressed as well as the mother-to-be) but it tasted delicious as well. Will definitely be recommending to my friends and family for any event moving forward!

I don't usually leave reviews but I am so pleased with my experience! They are phenomenal and so dedicated! I can tell that there's a lot of heart at that store. We had a last minute order for edible image cookies with a strict deadline and not only did they expertly execute it - with great customer service - but the cookies also looked amazing! Thank you ABC Cakes! And shout out to the manager who delivered the cookies herself! Will definitely refer them to industry friends!

I'll start with a positive, the cake was tasty. Everyone who ate it really liked it and it really saved my review. I debated 3 or 4 stars and would honestly put 3.5 because the cake was good.
The design is where I take issue. The lettering on the front does not look like the picture I originally presented and, in fact, looks like something I could’ve written onto the cake myself. It’s quite sloppy both on the front and on the back. I thought the lettering on the front would be done in fondant or at least block lettering. I also asked for the lettering to be done in blue or red since the hat

I ordered a custom cake for my husbands birthday during quarantine. I called and was able to make the order via phone and was treated wonderfully. After sharing what I wanted and placing the order 5 days before, I was able to do curb side pickup and get the cane exactly how I wanted - my husband was so surprised and touched! Thank you for brightening our day with your beautiful creation!

So, our daughter wanted a 3D SpongeBob cake for her birthday party. We tried everywhere before deciding to go close to home--ABC Cakes. It was a last minute order--Wednesday for a Saturday party. I would have been okay with a sheet cake with SpongeBob drawn on it considering the late notice. What we got was a beautiful, intricate 3D SpongeBob cake that was the hit of the party. The smile on our daughter's face was priceless. We feel stupid for not going to them first. Pure class! A+!

I have always liked their cupcakes (especially the red velvet and carrot) so decided to order a custom german chocolate cake for my husband's birthday. Someone even called the day before pickup to check on the icing i wanted -- traditional pecan and coconut, yes i said. Well, they basically took a regular dark chocolate cake with vanilla icing and threw some 'pecan icing' around the sides, not on top. I discovered this when the cake had been set out to serve and the 'pecan icing' slid off the cake onto the platter. It tasted nothing like german chocolate so the whole experience

Love love love this bakery!!!! Back in November I had pictures scheduled for my daughters 1st Birthday. I went into ABC bakery to have a cake made for her pictures. I picked it up the day before and the owner gave me a 15 min lesson on how to preserve the frosting. ( the pictures needed to be rescheduled due to my daughter getting sick). Anyway we got home and my husband decided that he would take the cake into the house, and of course he drops my beautiful cake and completely ruin it. I called the bakery the next day and explained what happened. They ended up making a whole new cake for her pictures

I Love this place!!! I went in looking into taking classes to learn how to decorate cakes, cupcakes and sugar cookies , It was perfect because the owner did just that. She gave me a day and time to come in which was from 10am to 12pm on a Wednesday, so I went in and went to the back of the store which was a very nice and opened area. I loved that it was a one to one class and I wouldn't mind if it wasn't but it was great to just be the only one. she helped me with so much that I left happy and excited to come back for another class.

Had a craving today so I walked into this bakery. I ordered two cupcakes, one vanilla and one chocolate chip. Paid $5.50 which is a little on the pricy side for me but didn't mind. Got home, ate dinner and opened the container. OMG this was the best cupcake I have ever ate! So soft, delicious and not sweet. So worth the $5.50 for two. My daughter also loved her vanilla cupcake. Must try
