Beth and David brought "A Dough Re Mi" to the Low Country in 1996. With years of culinary experience behind them, their restaurant became a staple for the Mount Pleasant pizza eating connoisseurs. The vast menu featuring subs, salads, dinners and the gyro, second to none in the Charleston area, has endured the test of time.
A Dough Re Mi has been in various areas of Mount Pleasant including the Isle of Palms, most recently finding its way to The Shoppes at Brickyard on Highway 17 North. It's family atmosphere and serene setting make it a comfortable stop for all. Recent plans in the summer of 2015 will find an extensive outdoor sitting area.

Me and my mom have been going to A Dough Re Mi for years and today was our first day going back in a long time, and when I tell you I was so disappointed we have always had their beef lamb gyros and when I tell you the bread was burnt and hard, there was little to no filling or sauce. Our money was completely wasted for this piece of atrocity your about to see.🤢🤢🤮🤮 will never go again.

First off I love the name. I finally had a chance to stop in here to eat. The place is not much to look at and it’s tucked away in the back. I ordered the gyro with lamb and it was delicious and the biggest I have ever seen. I can’t say anything about the pizza as I didn’t have any but the table next to me had one and it look wonderful.
They might have staffing problems but so does everyone else. The smaller places like this have an even harder time finding people as the can’t pay as much.
Update: I went beck to get the pizza and it was also very good. It doesn’t taste like a traditional

The other night I got a pie from this spot from a friend. We had gotten one a few weeks before that was pretty good but badly burnt on one half, so I was skeptical, but we decided to give it another shot. The pizza came in 20 minutes. It was almost inedible. The undercarriage was literally paper thin but worse, most of the bottom of the pizza was uncooked dough. You couldn't pick a piece up. I've sent back maybe 3 orders of food in my entire life but we had to ask for another one cause this was literally just a slap in the face for 30 bucks. Called back explained the situation

We ordered 2 large pizzas at 3:00, so we expected in to be here quick. Was quoted 30 minutes for delivery but it took WELL over an HOUR for our pizza to arrive. The crust was not even, the cheese and toppings was pushed off to one half of the pizza (it looks as if they put more cheese on that side to correct it though) and it was football in shape (a sign of a sloopy pizza cook). The pizza tasted pretty good though, and was clearly made with quality ingredients. But the staff need to step up and do it right!

Been ordering the same thing for years and now all of a sudden my 20$ order isn’t making the 25 dollar cut off.. sorry I tip 10$ every time and order twice a week.... and the service I had on the phone??! “We usually try to hook you up if a driver is going that way but none are” what none are going 3 miles down the road? What it’s a burden to do… your job as a delivery driver? And this is swallowing the fact that the Stromboli’s recently have been nothing like they used to be, the cheese was shredded and not melted all the way yet I still ordered hoping y&rsquo

The food is decent if you can deal with the ignorance of the staff. Recently called to order for delivery and the guy on the phone made me out to be completely unreasonable that he had to enter my address and take my credit card over the phone. Sure we had to confirm the address but have some patience and be pleasant. Then they lost the charge slip and the delivery driver set the food on the ground to be quickly covered in ants.
Telling me you have three calls on hold and thanking "baby Jesus" upon order completion because you don't offer 2012 online ordering is not my problem
