Inland Water Divers

Captain Pete Wastak, Instructor Trainer/ Course Director, is a graduate of the Maritime Marine Institute merchant marine school where he graduated from the 100 ton Masters class and is licensed as a US Coast Guard captain. Pete became certified as a diver in 1986 and has been certifying scuba divers for the National Association of Underwater Instructors since 1991 when he completed his instructor certification in California.

Inland Water Divers has great relationships with many of the top dive manufactures in the industry. Oceanic is a global leader in the research, development, manufacturing and distribution of high-quality SCUBA diving and snorkeling equipment. Aqua Lung introduced the world to Scuba diving more than 60 years ago and is the worldwide leader in SCUBA diving equipment.

Inland Water Divers is dedicated to providing high quality family oriented scuba training with an emphasis on safety, adventure and enjoyment. Our goal is to train not just certified divers but competent divers. To the Environment - We strive to be responsible users of the world's oceans and support worldwide ocean conservation efforts.

Our instructors have years, some cases decades, of experience teaching and diving around the globe. The resume of our instructors include working with handicapped divers, technical diving, 1st Aid instruction, public safety diving, equipment repair technicians, Merchant Marine Officers and diving just for the fun of it.
