We offer small classes by professional instructors and support staff that really care about your experience! How small are our classes? We teach a maximum of four (4) students per instructor! That means more one on one time with your instructor. That also means less time spent waiting in a class and more time doing (more actual diving practice).

Services
We offer guided dive (and dive/adventure) trips to some of the greatest places on earth! We make all the arrangements (except airfare usually) so that you can sign up, sit back, and relax. While you are on your trip, if you have an equipment problem or have forgotten something, all you have to do is let us know and we will do our best to take care of it for you.
Please contact the shop for more details. Air & Visitor Tax not included. If only one person from the group is on a flight there will be an additional charge of $300, two people would be $100 each extra, three people would be $34 each extra. Payment in full is due at time of sign up. Unused portions of packages are nontransferable and nonrefundable.
The SSI Open Water Program ("OW" as the pros say) at Fins Up Scuba is where most people start their scuba diving adventures! The program is divided into four key parts: Self-Study, Classroom, Pool Dives, & Open Water Dives Self-Study When you sign up for your class with us you will receive a Digital Training Kit.
When you sign up for your class with us you will receive a Digital Training Kit. You will be able to do your knowledge development on your phone, digital device, or computer. Each has its own advantages but whichever way you choose (you can use all of them), we will be there to answer your questions as they come up!
Do you want to be a better diver? Get some street cred as a diver? Advanced Open Water is the class for you. In AOW you will have no mandatory dives, so you get to pick what you want to do. Chris and Nicole were absolutely wonderful instructors! We had a fun and exciting training and they go through the process of learning very strategically to make it fun and safe!!! We are so grateful to have found Chris and Nichole and their Fins Up Scuba family! We have traveled to Fiji, Philippines, Mexico and Bonaire with them and, even though each country has different rules and regulations, there has never been any issues navigating them with ease since Chris stays on top of any changes daily and notifies us immediately.

Chris and Nichole are the owners and are enthusiasts that enjoy sharing their passion for scuba diving. I was planning to go to Scottsdale and hoping to have a dive in the summer while I'm there. I decided to give a call to dive shop and asked about dive trips etc in Scottsdale area, the gentleman on the phone was very polite, professional and honest about what diving conditions would be by the time I arrive.
I truly appreciated the honesty and letting me know that the conditions may not be the best at the time I'll be arriving. This showed me that this dive shop cares more of their (possible) clients' experience than "making money" itself. I may not have the diving experience with them just yet

Customer service is in their DNA. They make it easy to learn to scuba, they go out of their way to help their clients. I have been their customer for about one year and have seen them help many people learn. I learned to scuba through them, and since that time have logged over 50 dives. I have gone on a scuba dive vacation that they organized and it was a trip of a lifetime. We have a 9 year old son, and even if we move out of the valley we will come back here to have them teach him to scuba. They are that amazing.

I came in here looking for diving gear as I will be going for a dive trip to the Maldives this holiday season and wanted to finally invest in gear that I am comfortable in.
I think Chris (name??) helped me out with finding a mask, snorkel, fins and boots. I'm Asian, so I don't have a prominent nose bridge, so I really wanted to make sure that the mask would fit me right. I've gone diving a few times and it's always hard to find that perfect mask. I was initially only interested in the mask, but Chris was quite helpful, so we started looking at snorkels also and eventually

My boyfriend and I did our open water dive certification here and it was a marvelous choice! Chris and Nicole are amazing, they are the owners and instructors. There are other part-time instructors and they are all wonderful people.
There are online materials that we have to finish before we can participate in class at the pool and lake. There is 1 pool day (8am-5pm); and two lake days. What's not to love about this shop, fun shop trips all over the world, super friendly and understanding staff, great service at fair prices. Encouraging atmosphere and network of people that actually dive so even if your friends don't dive you can always find a way to get in the water or go on a trip with some awesome people. I have done everything from my first dive to my Dive Master with Chris and his staff, and have brought in a few friends to get certified as well. The only complaint I have heard was from a friend that went to a different shop because of scheduling issues, he regretted it and

I went in to a different shop before finding Fins Up. The guy in the shop treated me like I was disturbing him. This is not what you get at Fins Up. They will do whatever takes to get you what you need. Friendly staff and great instructors! They have a great group who always have a good time. Go check them out!

I've been to a number of dive shops in the past and I've seen good shops and bad shops. My first experiences in the sport almost turned me away. Then I met Chris and Nichole and that changed my whole view on the sport. They are some of the best divers I know. They treat their customers with respect and kindness. Hands down this is the best shop I've ever dove with.

I was so nervous about scuba diving, but Chris and Nicole were so comforting and supportive. The equipment is of quality, I felt safe, and I truly know how to scuba dive efficiently because of their attention to details and technical knowledge. Their passion for scuba diving shows in their teaching because they are patient and excited for their students. As a grade school teacher, I found their skills to be superb. I highly recommend this company for scuba diving!! :)

Ocean blue here we come! :) My Husband and I are divers and our 16 year old daughter expressed interest in getting certified so that she may dive with us on our up-coming trip to Cozumel! I was referred to Fin's Up Scuba and could not be happier with our decision for her to get certified there. Chris and Nichole are friendly, knowledgeable and excited about their underwater passion!
