She loves children and cares for her patients dearly. She has been providing great dental care to children of all ages for over 10 years now. Her philosophy is to provide the highest quality of dentistry with the kindness, patience, and dedication that is necessary when working with children and their parents.
By seeing children at an early age, we are able to check the gums, jaws, and any primary teeth that have erupted to ensure everything is developing as expected. More importantly, it allows us to speak with you about diet, and hygiene, and prevention. Children that begin early with their dental care tend to develop much better oral hygiene habits and have lower rates of decay.
We will review oral hygiene instructions with children and their caregivers. If treatment is needed, we will make sure to provide you with a detailed explanation of our findings and recommendations both verbally and written. We love open communication with our patients and their parents, so we encourage you to ask questions.

MY daughter had work done on this dentist office yesterday... so far she seems with no pain.. I'm just concern about her not wanted to go back because in the process of the doctor and the assistant working with her she said she was told to be quiet in bad way by squeezing her cheeks i don't know if it really happen or they where trying to keep her mouth open because she was crying alot and she also was on the one medicine to keep them calm my daughteris very nervous petson so i know she could get people very irritating by crying to much ... anyway if i do decide to go back i will let

Love this place! They’re amazing with the children and my daughter has gotten work done here. I recommend this place 10/10! They let you know what type of treatment will be done on your child and if it changes, they let you know right away! Love how they interact with the kids and how they give them little present at the end of their appointment.

Omg let me tell you about this dentist! My 6yo autistic son who is very busy went there to get his teeth done and boy I tell you! The STAFF HERE IS AMAZING, very NICE PATIENT AND HELPFUL! They explain details from the beginning to end! They do not put our babies to sleep they make sure they are awake and comfortable! My son had a few teeth pulled and no pain at all after! They never answer the phone, I went for an appointment and I had a question about my daughter eating before coming in the next day. I called maybe 20 times from 8am-4pm, left 4 messages. Finally gave up. Next morning when I came in I called while sitting down and the ladies there would just look at the phone and not answer. I asked them and they said it's because they were busy. All I saw was them talking about their kids and soccer practice.

I can honestly say since my first initial appointment assigning my son to this dentist has been a great experience. They are always professional, nice and caring. My son recently got some major work done. Major 2 me. And I was so scared, but they took care of my baby, and for that I am forever grateful. Awesome place for children

My daughter freaked out at her previous dentist because she needed dental work and a shot in the mouth to do it :( We were referred to EBCD and this will be her dentist going forth. The staff is friendly and considerate. Dr. J is so awesome with the kids and she is timely as well. Even with a couple of teeth removal and a few fillings she had my daughter in and out. Highly recommended!

I have no words to thank their staff for the excellent service provided! My daughter is almost 3 years old and I was super afraid of how she was gonna behave on her first dentist appointment, specially because I wasn't able to take day off work to go, so my husband was the one who took her there. And sometimes dad isn't really helpful in distracting or calming his little daughter down. He's usually super sensitive and suffer more than her, so you can imagine my anxiety about it. I have twin girls who are 2 years old and I have gone to two other offices before I took them here to East Bay Childrens Dentistry. I must say I was not very satisfied with how well the other two offices managed they way they spoke to children and they were too fast paced. At this office the staff takes time to reach down to the childrens level of thinking to make them feel comfortable and they take their time with them. No stars if possible! I brought my daughter to this dentist Dr maha, paid 800+ to get caps that fell off 1 week later! Not to mention the worst part was when my daughter was drugged for the procedure she wasn't fully asleep and crying for me because they wouldn't let me in the back or calm her down. My day as soon as she came out told me that the dentist had hit her on her head, & told her to shut up! Till this day over a year later she still tells me the same thing! When I tell her we are going to the doctor she says not to that one because she is mean and is going to hit her again

Best denstist ever! My whole life I have been scared of the destist and this place makes me want to wish they also had adult patients. Every single employee here makes my family and I feel welcomed and understood, as well as comfortable enough to be able to with kindness tell us the parents when we are not doing well with our childrens oral health. My 2 year old son woke up with a fever and is congested, cant breathe out of his nose, and has a cough. I called to reschedule his appointment for when he was not sick and was told before he can be seen, I have to pay a $300.00 cancellation fee!
He is supposed to undergo oral anesthesia for extensive treatment. Everything I have read and even the dentist herself told me he cant safely undergo anesthesia when he's sick. So tell me why a dentist would penalize a patient for being sick when they cant safely undergo anesthesia?
I wont be coming back here and I am certainly not paying the cancellation

I take 3 of my children here for years now and won't be switching! We are so lucky to have Dr Mahsa. She is kind, welcoming, knowledgeable and so amazing with kids. OH. MY. GAWD!! I have NEVER been happier!! Having a child on medi-cal, choices are limited. Having a child who has had 7 crowns. 3 fillings. 3 baby root canals and 2 teeth pulled make for very stressful dentist trips. I really thought I was stuck with....another dental office. Unnamed dental office referred me to SAN JOSE to get a tooth pulled. Fortunately, I have friends and I was referred to EBCD. The staff is SUPER friendly and efficient. The dentist-Dr. Mahsa was A-MAZE-ING!! They spoke to my daughter as a patient vs. talking to the mom. My daughter was at ease. I was at ease and now, changing

This place is amazing! I have been to a couple of other dentists in the area with my son ( my choices are limited due to my healthcare plan) and this is by far the best one. Even putting aside the fact that this is one of the few places that accepts my insurance I can not say enough about how fantastic the staff was. They really made my 5yrs old feel safe and ready to get his cavities filled. They were great at putting my worries to ease, coming out thru the procedure to give me updates on him. Dr. Mahsa is incredible with children and just knows the way to their hearts. My children love her and unlike other dentists we've been to, are always super excited for the dental visits.

My child has sensory differences that make dentistry very difficult for him, and makes him very anxious. Last time we went to his regular dentist, he freaked out and we couldn't get his teeth cleaned or sealed, so we were referred to East Bay Children's Dentistry. It took a couple of months to get through the wait list for new patients and our first visit was today.
