Services
You can find us in our garden, cooking from scratch, or making homemade lotion, sunscreen, and tinted lip balm to accommodate Bethany's allergies! Chronic illness has slowed us down in a fast paced city, but we love our slower, simplified life together. We savor a beautiful sunset, the free military band concerts at the Capitol on summer nights, and sitting on our front porch, listening to records through the open windows!
We work to make sessions fun for everyone! To achieve gorgeous portraits and the styled candids that make you melt, we try to stike the balance between going with the flow and giving posing prompts! We feel incredibly honored to be trusted with some of your most special moments and we think this is the closest you can get to bottling up that feeling of love and joy and gratitude.

Our experience with Bethany and John was amazing! Every time we're back in DC, we want them to capture our family photos. Bethany is a talented artist and a genuinely lovely person. John was fantastic with our kids, and together they made photographing toddlers and babies as easy as can be. We absolutely treasure the photos from our session and highly recommend them!
