Mari is the most talented photographer I have ever met! She shot both our engagement photoshoot and wedding and I can't describe in words what an amazing job she did.
First off, she is one of the most pleasant people that I have ever interacted with. She is so sweet and makes you feel very comfortable while she is shooting you. She is very responsive to email and easy to get a hold of. She was also very communicative when it came to the wedding and took the time to answer all of my questions ahead of time so that the timeline was planned thoroughly before the day of the wedding.

There were plenty of tough decisions we had to make during our wedding planning process - but choosing a photographer and videographer was certainly not one of them. As soon as I caught a glimpse of the work produced by Mari Harsan Studios (and before I was even engaged), I knew I had to have them capture my wedding! George and his team is absolutely suburb - worth every penny. Went above and beyond to make our video everything we wanted and capturing the moments that were specifically important to us! My brother made a video and he even incorporated into his final edits. I asked him to edit my sister's dance early and he was able to accommodate our request 2 weeks after the wedding was done. I can't thank him enough and my only regret is that we didn't find him earlier so that we could have used his team for our photography as well.

Mari is an amazingly talented photographer. She photographed both our engagement shoot and our wedding. Not only were the pictures beautifully and artistically done but the experience was relaxed and enjoyable. During the engagement shoot, she was great at directing us through a variety of shoots. At the wedding, she was able to capture special moments without us even feeling she was there. My husband and I were very satisfied -- and we have very particular taste! I can recommend Mari without hesitation -- she's the real deal.

Mari and George and their team truly are different. From the beginning, they put in the extra effort. They made a trip into DC and met me near my work during the week so we had enough time to discuss my vision and answer any questions I had.
Now, fast forward to the day of the wedding -- We spent over 10 hours with them on the day of our wedding and they were nothing less of patient, gracious and kind. They orchestrated our timeline precisely and thought on the fly when one photo location didn't work out due to a permit mishap.

I think Mari Harsan has great photography and videography skills - that's why we reached out to her in the first place. However, we had some privacy concerns after seeing some intimate photos (i.e. father sobbing at daughter's wedding) on her webpage and it seemed like all conversations were about how the photography/videography she would take at our wedding (that we would be paying a LOT for) would help her business... She wasn't the right fit for us because we didn't want a wedding photographer/videographer to view our wedding as an opportunity for future business while not

Mari is the best of the best, it's just that simple! She did an amazing job on our engagement and wedding shoot, and we get compliments on our wedding photos ALL the time and people are just wowed by them. On top of that, she is the sweetest person and so so easy to work with. Extremely accommodating, cheerful, hard working and I could go on and on. Note to brides who have not done this before: you do not realize how much of a role your photographer/videographer play in your special day (or at least I didn't). They are all around you during every special moment and they spend the entire day with you. Mari, George and their crew were awesome people to have around. I can honestly say THEY CAPTURED EVERY MOMENT and they did it while making us laugh during photo shoots and staying in the background during the memories. Its rare to find a team so passionate about their work. From the second we got to the venue, they were running around capturing every angle of every wedding event but, surprisingly, you could hardly even notice they were there. Always super polite and professional. But, what drew us to Mari Harson was the quality of their editing and cinematography! After spending time with Mari and George for 5 minutes I KNEW I had found my wedding photographer and videographer. I cannot say enough good things about this team.
