Southwest Florida Dream Builders was founded in 2006 by Larry Cornell. We are a smaller building company with quality workmanship and customer service in mind. We purposefully limit the amount of homes we build so that we are able to give our full attention to the superb construction and service we feel every customer deserves.
Our philosophy is quality over quantity and that is why we have maintained our great reputation throughout the years here in Englewood, Fl. This company is run by Larry Cornell, Chris Cornell, and Danny Cornell and we are personally involved in everything from start to finish. There is no secretary, no outsourced foreman, and no realtor who sits in our model.

We recently used SWFL Dream Builders to construct our dream home in South Gulf Cove (Port Charlotte, FL). My husband and I cannot be more pleased. They were awesome to work with and their quality of work and attention to detail was outstanding. They worked with us hand in hand with us and the subcontractors to make changes and revisions to our home plans. They were always responsive, honest and up front with us. I would highly recommend them as a quality home builder. They did indeed make our dream come true!!

This is a family run company who built my dream home from the ground up. They take pride in their work and it shows!! Our home is gorgeous! There is no middle man you deal directly with either the father or the son and they treat you like family. When you either call or email for any reason they respond within the hour or less! I highly recommend SWFDB!!! I am now living in my dream home thanks to the Cornell’s!!!

People say, "Never work with family", but this is just not the case with SW Florida Dream builders. I have watched them for over 10 years put their heart and common sense into every house they build. I have been there as they point out a tiny detail that a typical builder wouldn't notice and they have it put right. They walk through the homes as if they are their own being built. I don't know about you, but I want that attention to detail and care in my builders especially when buying/building long distance. Which is exactly what my husband and I are doing this year with

I represented a client that bought a home built by Southwest Florida Dream Builders. The process was easy and smooth. These guys build a great home with many upgrades you normally won't get from other builders. Needless to say my client is excited about her new home. I will not hesitate to show my clients any of their homes.
