Last month I wasn’t able to make a reservation for more than 24 hours ahead with Uber or LYFT so I found The Good Taxi of Medford online. No problem putting in a reservation for 5 a.m. two days away. The gentleman driving was courteous, helpful, considerate and on time!! I would not even consider using Uber or Lyft again when I can easily make one call and the mission is accomplished!

I would rate zero but as we all know it is not possible. Please avoid! I called, two days prior, to book a ride for my wife returning to Boston from Europe. The person answering the call did not say the company name and only by asking I could confirm that I reached The Good Taxi. I provided the flight number and two cell phone numbers. I was not charged for the ride and was not given any confirmation number. I was told I did not need one. I was asked that my wife or I call on my wife's arrival in Boston. I kept calling for 30 minutes, practically non-stop, trying both phone numbers

I had scheduled a cab for a 5:15 AM pick up for a week ago Thursday. As my sister and I stood waiting at the top of my long driveway, it began to rain, thunder, and lightning. No cab appeared. When I called, someone picked up the phone but never spoke. I could just hear them talking. I hung up and tried again. This time I got voicemail, so I left a message. No one ever showed up and nobody ever called back. We were lucky to get an Uber at the last minute and did not miss our flight. I will never call this company again!

We have been taking the Good Taxi to and from the airport for years. I've been able to reserve within 24 hours. Our rides always arrive early and find the best routes back and forth. The prices are as good or better than other taxis and Uber-like options.
The most recent trip, our flight was more than an hour late. Our driver had stayed on top of the change and was right in front of the door as we walked out with our luggage. That evening, we were pleasantly surprised when we began to talk to the driver and ended up learning about and discussing Robert Caro's multi-volume bio of LBJ

I called for a cab to the airport yesterday morning and confirmed over the phone for pick up. I was informed I would receive a call from the driver. 20 minutes after the driver was expected to show up, I call back and am told by the same guy I booked with that he would call the driver and call me back. He never did. This was for an important international employee trying to get to the airport to fly back home. Very unprofessional.

One early morning in January on my way to the airport, I found myself at a street corner with my bags, alone in the dark, thanks to "Good" Taxi.
The driver Good Taxi sent me drove much too fast on Mass Ave, nearing 50mph. He ignored me when I asked him to slow down. He then hit nearly 40 on a residential side street, and got belligerent when I asked him to slow down. I got out because there was no way I was going to let this person drive me on the highway.
In all my years taking cabs in major US cities, I have had this experience maybe once or twice. Getting out of a cab on a dark corner

I have taken the Good Taxi many times to and from the airport early in the morning and late at night and they have always been great--on time, pleasant, not the most expensive option around. But now it is 2am and I am standing in a ridiculously long taxi line at the airport because my flight was delayed and they decided that they would not send the taxi I had requested earlier today, and not even notify me about it.

I have used good taxi more times than I can count and have nothing but praise for their way of business. Other services may be cheaper, but you cannot put a price on reliability. When you are constantly headed to the airport as I am, there is no room to take any chances on missing a flight. Always on time, never any surprises. One flat rate, always.

I've used them several times. Cars are easy to book and rates are reasonable. However, for the second time now, they have left me stranded at the airport when I had reserved a pick up in advance. The first time I called when they didn't show and they said they were picking up someone else who's flight was delayed and was supposed to arrive before mine. They said I could wait and share a ride with her but that it would take around 45 minutes. The second time was last night my pick up was planned for 12:20a.m. I called them at 12:25 thinking they were probably running a little late

I live in Arlington and have used The Good Taxi four or five times to get to Logan for business trips this year. Until this morning, I would have given them five stars - the drivers were prompt and courteous, paying was easy, and I could always get a reservation the day before. I have recommended them to friends and acquaintances. Today was different.

I'm fairly surprised that this place has such great reviews. I was taking an earlier morning flight after visiting family in the area. I arranged in advance for the car to come at a pre-specified time, but they ended up arriving 20 minutes late. I did not receive any warning, and when I called the dispatcher, I was just told that they would be 5 minutes late (without providing any apology, and it ended up being much more than 15 minutes).
