Equilibrium Acupuncture is a private treatment center in Montclair, serving the community for acupuncture since 2007 and herbal medicine since 2010. The practice is conveniently located downtown in the modern Academy Building. Equilibrium Acupuncture is under the direction of Deborah Vaphides, L.Ac.

Seeing Deborah at Equilibrium Acupuncture has been great for me! She was recommended to me after almost 2 years of trying to conceive, including medication and IVF. Quickly after starting acupuncture and implementing Deborah’s dietary changes, I finally got pregnant! Sessions continue to be beneficial for pain management and stress relief. Definitely recommend!

Her care for her patients is genuine, and that's essential for healing. I had suffered from severe pain and symptoms of PMS for 10 years, and they were getting worse when I started treatment. I feel so much better after a few months only. I've lost weight, have more energy, and I'm on my way to be pain free!! She's amazing.

I had a great experience with Deborah here! I have post concussion symptoms and she took time to ask about my situation and find out what would work best for me. I am so grateful to have met Deborah! I knew the moment I sat down with her that I could trust her. Deborah is awesome! She asks a lot of questions and tries to understand everything you’re experiencing and always follows up. She is so sweet and caring. I was very lucky and within 2 visits my fertility issues were resolved! Another time the Acupunture really helped me with my horrible carpal tunnel and sciatica! Will keep going in the future!

I am beyond glad to have met Deborah. When the doctors sent me home with a prescription and a diagnosis of vertigo (which would not go away) she was quick to tell me I am dehydrated and depleted as a mother of three and referred me to another (great) doctor who sent me tot the emergency room for IV. She has the ‘mind and body is one’ approach; she is insightful, professional and relatable. She is my first acupuncturist and will probably be my last.

Deborah was recommended to me after 2 failed attempts of fertility treatments. At the age of 45, I was told the odds were not in my favor of conceiving, let alone naturally. I'm happy to share that after a few months of being treated by her I did indeed conceive and naturally to boot! We are expecting our baby girl in October. She has also helped me with my pregnancy symptoms along the way. I highly recommend Deborah! I was having back and neck problems. After, seeing a chiropractor with very little relief I tried acupuncture. My yoga teacher recommended Equilibrium Acupuncture of Montclair and after the first visit there was a notable difference. Within 3-4 visits the excruciating neck pain I had been experiencing for close to a year, was alleviated. Deborah was sensitive to my needs, very informative and extremely patient!
