Whether it was courage or desperation that brought you here - it was the right decision to take this important step. The time is now to search for the help and support you need in addressing the negative issues surrounding your personal life and your relationships. For some this is a courageous first step.
For others, a final last step. Are you or a loved one struggling with an addiction? Does your relationship need mending or is it just hanging on by a thread? Is your life plagued with hopelessness? Has the battle to find freedom eluded you? Have you tried to solve these issues on your own? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you have made the right choice to consider Christian counseling.

I am a Master's-level Board Certified Pastoral Counselor (BCPC) through the American Association of Christian Counselors. I am not just a Christian who counsels, but I counsel from a Biblical worldview - meaning I utilize the Word of God coupled with daily practical tools and prayer that help you experience an inner transformational change leading to an outward behavioral change.
I realize that no two people are the same and as such tailor my therapy to meet the specific needs of my clients. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue, I will help you recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to see things a different, healthier way.
It's usually out of worry, concern, anxiety and desperation that we reach out and take that difficult step to seek counseling. We are usually at the end of our rope, backed into a corner or forced to do it. It usually takes a supernatural nudge for Christians to take that step. Christians are supposed to have it all together; no worries, no problems, no marriages on the brink of divorce, perfect families, no addictions.
More often than not, drug addictions start with experimental use of a drug in social situations. And for some people, the drug use becomes more frequent. As time passes, a person may feel the need to use more of a drug to get their desired high, and soon a person may need the drug to simply feel "good."
No one wants to admit they get angry, especially when it gets out of control and hurts the ones we love. If you answered yes to any of the above questions, it may be time to consider anger management therapy. Anger issues aren't uncommon and the first step towards change is an admittance of the problem.
