Ok, this is a big one. There are a lot of important factors that go into Lashing properly, and believe it or not, a lot of science behind the skill. There are a lot of amazingly talented Lash Artists out there today, however not all lash artists are aware of the proper techniques and standards. Volume lash extensions are extremely fine lashes that are grouped together to form a "fan" shape, and that fan is then applied to each natural lash.
This gives the illusion of more lashes, thus resulting in a darker, more dense lash line, creating your very own custom strip lash. A volume "fan" can actually weigh. Chantel is literally the best lash girl I have ever had. I've been getting my lashes done for years and have tried different people all over the country. But I always come back to Chantel and I will be her client forever. Seriously, she takes SUCH amazing care of your lashes.... I have been going to Chantel for my lashes for over a year. Originally I was reluctant to try lash extensions again because I had concerns of my lashes breaking and not growing back. The prior lash artist did not apply my extensions on properly and my lashes started to break and fall out!

I have been interested in trying lash extensions but I did not want my lash length to look fake. I was looking for a more natural look. I work at a law firm and everyone’s appearance is conservative.

I love my lashes so much! They are everything I could ever want in lashes. Chantel is very experienced in what she does and it shows. My lashes came out super full, and are a perfect length that fit my eye shape. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that is looking for a very professional lash artist. She is also extremely sweet, which is a plus. Her place is super comfortable, beautiful and relaxing!

I've been getting my lashes done by Chantel for more than 4yrs. I continue to happily drive 30mins to her studio because she does an incredible job and more than that, she's made it possible for my natural lashes to completely transform, adding length and overall health in such a noticeable way!
I trust Chantel so very much for her expertise and strong knowledge around lash health - She's helped me identify when/if any products or practices were negatively effecting my lash health and maximizing the extensions, etc.

It's been 4 years of amazing lashes with Chantel so this review is long overdue. This review is for the "Classic Lashes/Fill" with natural style extension curl and length.
Vibes: The space is super clean and decorated to be almost as adorable as Chantel's personality. We always have great conversations so the hour passes quickly.
Location: Once you pull into the parking area (easy to find parking), just head through the glass door and up the stairs. Chantel's private room is in the Jean Claude Salon and with the door closed you don't really even hear the salon outside

Gale has been doing my lashes for over a month now. I'm really impressed with her attention to detail and making sure she gets it right. From the first visit we discussed what look I wanted and how she was going to create them.

Her space is gorgeous, clean, calming and comfortable.
I'm a squirmer when I get lashes and Chantel is so patient with me. She is professional, gentle and time flies while she dolls me up.
I leave her salon looking fabulous after every appointment. I go for lots of volume and a dramatic curl. Even with the heavy lashes, her work lasts and lasts! They even weathered three weeks of snorkeling in the Bahamas. I came back and still didn't need a fill for another week! Book with her before anyone else. You'll be so pleased

Chantel is an incredibly gifted artist! My lashes and brows look so gorgeous and I'm so happy with how I look every time I walk out her door. My lashes last really well too - thanks to her meticulous, detailed care - and my natural lashes are staying healthy and long as well - unlike places I've been to in the past where they would break because of the way the lashes were applied. I would've never considered getting lashes, except that a good friend of mine's are GORGEOUS (I thought they were natural), but when she told me she got them done by Chantel, I immediately booked.
Chantel is so lovely, gentle and so amazing at what she does. You get to tell her before she starts exactly how you want them to look (long and whispy, with a slight curl, fuller or whatever, etc). The initial full set does take some time (which felt like a big commitment beforehand), but truthfully it's so worth it I CANNOT even tell you. I got these before my boyfriend was coming

Chantel does an outstanding job. I got my full set on 3 weeks ago and they are STILL gorgeous, I could easily go another week! The room is clean and calm, Chantel is great; good amount of quiet time as well as chatting. Took the normal amount of time, 2 hours for a full set. Going in today for my fill which will be an hour. I am hooked!

I was just about ready to give up and find some really good mascara, but then I found Chantel. In the past, my other lash extensions only lasted a week or 2 (which ends up being pretty expensive right?) but my current lashes have been on for over 3 weeks and are still going strong! I attribute my 'lash success' to Chantel's highly-developed skill set and her use of quality products (lashes and glue). I'm thrilled to have found her!

This review is long over due! Chantel has done my lashes for a while now and she always has done a beautiful job. They last forever basically and never damage my own natural lashes. She's also a sweet and sincere person who is really fun to chat with. Sharp tools and adhesive near your eyes? What could possibly go wrong?? Exactly! You want someone who is capable and experienced, I definitely do. I'm always at ease when Chantel does my lashes and I highly recommend her.

Every 3-4 weeks I drive from PB to Del Mar to see Chantel and its 1000% worth it.
Chantel's not only an incredibly skilled lash artist but she is always ahead of the industry with her trainings = she knows her stuff. Plus she's a super fun and enjoyable person to be around (laying in a chair an hour + can get old with a grouch )!

I've been seeing Chantel for my lashes for about 6 months consistently. Chantel is absolutely INCREDIBLE with eyelash extensions- she's able to make my eyes pop with long and glamorous, but also natural-looking extensions with no excess clumps of glue, and lashes last easily over two and a half weeks before I need a refill. Besides her obvious skill, Chantel is also a fantastic person! She's outgoing and friendly, and our hour long appointments fly by. I wouldn't go to anyone else in San Diego for my lashes.

Chantel is absolutely the best! She has been doing my lashes for about a year now and I can't imagine going to anyone else.....so when she moved to her new Del Mar location, I followed her in a heartbeat. Chantel is super friendly and fun to talk to while she does your lashes and her work is always impeccable. When I was getting my makeup done for my wedding last summer, my makeup artist commented that my lashes were probably the best she had ever seen in her years of doing makeup. I even get stopped by perfect strangers to ask about where I get them done.

I moved out of California last year, but I travel back frequently and every time I am in San Diego I have to see her because she is simply the BEST esthetician in town.
