Services
SalSon gives retailers and large brands a turnkey, end-to-end logistics solution to get products to market faster - from container to consumer. We help turn products into cash as fast as possible. SalSon was founded in 1960 by two childhood friends, Sal Berritto and Sonny DeMarco - Sal, meet Son.

More than 60 years later, under the leadership of our current President and CEO, Anthony Berritto, SalSon has grown from "two trucks and an empty warehouse" to a debt-free, $100 million-a-year company with locations throughout the Eastern United States.Ours is a classic American success story. Integrated logistics services are delivered by SalSon people on SalSon assets.
SalSon provides a comprehensive mix of logistics services that can move your products from the port straight through to the store shelf. All services are delivered by SalSon people using SalSon assets - chassis, trucks and warehouses. We operate terminals at all major East Coast and Gulf Coast ports.
SalSon has invested in tier-one systems to manage each function within our port to store shelf logistics solution. Data from all systems is fed into our SalSon portal and will soon be available to you in ONE user friendly tool - My SalSon - which is viewable from your desktop or mobile device. Log in to view inventory, order status, shipment status and to download BOLs and other key documents.
When it comes to being a responsible steward of the environment, SalSon puts its money where its mouth is. We are a SmartWay Transport Partner that continually invests to upgrade tractors, trailers, chassis and warehouse equipment to the newest, most-efficient models available. Research has shown that, most often, what makes environmental sense makes economic sense.
If you want to work for a fast-paced, fast-growing company in the rapidly expanding field of logistics and supply chain management, you've come to the right place. Check out our company overview video. For drivers, check out our "Why Drive for SalSon" video. We are a family owned and operated logistics company that serves some of the country's largest retailers and consumer brands.

Was told to sit out on the road, sat there for two hours. Then someone came out and said people are complaining. Was forced to drive up the street. Still sitting here. I have been driving for more than 15 years and this place by far is the worst place I have ever been to. Steal clear of this place if you can.

SalSon Logistics Inc is a family! The service, the people, the effort they put in to their craft is admirable! Every trucking company should be looking up to them and their operation. Rain, shine, snow, this team lets nothing ever effect their service and their productivity. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I have been here at Salon for almost 10 years now, I'm very happy with them. They're very family oriented and work hard to work with you in emergencies.
The dispatchers work hard to keep you moving so you'll make the money. They have new equipment so you have a reliable rig.

They had my resume I submitted. I didn't get back to them quick enough so they called me on 3 different phone numbers until I told them to stop harassing me. This is not the professional way to recruit people.

One of the worst paces to pick up a load. Road getting in is lined with cars trucks and container chassis. Docks to pick up red bull are over crowded with trailers and containers. The guards and shippers are decent people but the drivers are rude and inconsiderate.

The place was total chaos I've worked for a big LTL company in Jersey for years no comparison I was told the lot was too full to pull in at the guard gate to go back out on the road but when you try to get back out you cannot move it's total gridlock the only good thing I can say is I had a dedicated delivery for Red Bull so as soon as I got a door I was unloaded in about 10 minutes but I could not use the door I was given because the yard is completely full there's nowhere to maneuver nowhere to turn around their drivers just cut you off total chaos security guards all should be retrained, if

Anthony Berritto has created opportunities and livelihoods for SO many people, this man is hands down the best guy I ever worked for or watched operate under any circumstances. I worked at Salson for quite a few years between 2005 and 2012. I've been in transportation for 19 years now and I've learned alot but nothing more important than what I learned at Salson, I owe all my logistical wit to Anthony and his staff. Anyone leaving a bad review of working here is lying to you and themselves and they're probably not cut out for this industry. Salson is a family.

I worked at Salson as a truck driver. Let me tell you they are very rude, talk down to you. They set you up with very little guidance or how to really be successful at your job. If you have questions they just talk to you like you’re dumb. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a job! Stay clear from there! Believe the reviews.

It's really packed and hard to know who's next in line to get loaded. Be courteous and respectful and you can get a can or two of red bull in shipping office. Try to park outside before entering the gate and walk on foot to guard shack for instructions
