Sherry Gergis, M.D. is a board-certified adult psychiatrist. For Residency, she trained at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine and attended Baylor College of Medicine fellowship program for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. She has been practicing in Orlando, FL since 2014. Trinity Psychiatric Health offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for adults, adolescents, and children in a welcoming setting.

I suffered many years with OCD. Finally, after finding Dr. Gergis, in combination with therapy, and medication I have found some relief and hope. I had enough of the suffering and finally gave the medication and therapy a real chance to work. It took time but I am so glad I kept going and didn't quit. I am seeing positive changes and feel more and more freedom from OCD.

Finally found a place that makes me feel heard and is treating me and being sensitive to requests such as not wanting to be on too many medications at once. I really struggle finding doctors I feel comfortable with and I don’t leave my appointments questioning everything I said/did, nor do they ever comment or seem resentful or judging when I email to book an appointment because I can’t quite pick up the phone. I really recommend Dr Gergis so highly.

I returned to Dr. Gergis after a few months of being off medication, recognizing that I stopped them too soon (unwittingly by my own choice) and was in the midst of a relapse. When I spoke with her about this and owning my mistake she was very understanding and was not judgemental at all - reassuring me that we can pick up the pieces to get me back to where I need to be. I'm thankful that she was able to see me on what most would consider short notice, and especially thankful for the virtual appointments she offers!

Dr. Gergis makes you feel comfortable opening up and sharing. I never feel rushed. Her insights also shed light in other ways that make me think. She will give tough love when necessary, but is not demeaning in any way. Becky at the reception desk is always pleasant. She explains the telehealth appt process easily and follows up right away to schedule your next appointment.

I called the office and was happily greeted by Becky the office manager. She quickly set up my appointment and I had a FaceTime within a week with Dr. Gergis. Dr. Gergis was friendly and knowledgeable. It’s been a month now and I feel so much better. I’m extremely thankful to of found such a wonderful office.
