Services
Since 1886 the funeral home has had several different locations in the downtown Murray area. The current location, built in 1960, is the fourth location for the funeral home. Over the years the current building has been renovated and updated many times with the latest rennovations taking place in 2014.
The way we honor and memorialize our loved ones in death should be as unique as they were in life. Our goal is to help the families we serve through the difficulty of loss and organize and personalize services that truly honor the life that was lived. The main desire of our staff is to provide the most comfortable, respectful and helpful environment during these difficult times.
Pre-planning is an opportunity to make logical decisions for yourself and your family. It allows one to ease the burden of making decisions. Your loved ones should not have to make those decisions at a time of grief. It is also your obligation to your family to make sure your funeral is paid for or you have other means to pay for the funeral at the time of your death.
Simply defined, grief is the normal and natural reaction to significant emotional loss of any kind. While we never compare losses, any list would include death and divorce as obvious painful losses. Our list also includes many others; retirement, moving, pet loss, financial and health issues, etc. The range of emotions associated with grief is as varied as there are people and personalities.
