Anglin Funeral Home
Being a place of support and comfort for the past 84 years we realize that each individual who is entrusted to us is a life, one that touched and impacted countless others. When you entrust that special person to Anglin Funeral Home, you are allowing us to become a part of your family and you a part of ours, together we commemorate and remember that life.

In doing so we help family and friends continue with their own life's journey while always holding special memories close to their hearts. It is not always possible to pay respects in person, so we hope that this small token will help. It's hard to know what to say when someone experiences loss. Our free weekly newsletter provides insights, quotes and messages on how to help during the first year.
Services
In 1951 Herman Anglin began his funeral service career and in 2011 he celebrated 60 years of service to the citizens of Stewart County. Though retired, he continues to be an important part of Anglin Funeral Home today. Presently Herman's sons, Wayne and Mark, along with his grandchildren Amanda and Landon share in the daily operations of the funeral home.
Anglin Funeral Home's staff are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff. Herman is a licensed funeral director and began his funeral service career in 1951 with Milligan and Ridgeway Funeral Home.
When it comes time to care for a deceased loved one, you may feel overwhelmed and confused about the next steps and options. Our funeral home staff members are here and ready to help. Whether you'd like a funeral or a more creative celebration of life, we can assist you to select the funeral service options that hold the most meaning for you and your family.
Obituaries act as quiet reminders of the finite nature of our lives. Yet, for those who have recently experienced the death of a family member or friend, an obituary means so much more. It is a bittersweet reminder of all we've lost, but it can also help us to remember all we enjoyed while they were alive.
All we need to do is say the word "funeral" and within microseconds, you have an image in your mind of what a funeral looks like. This mental image comes from many sources: the geographical place, culture and society in which we live; our faith; our life experience.

Obviously then, a funeral service in Borneo would look very different from one held in Tanzania; there are even significant differences between the funerals held in ethnically and/or geographically diverse regions of North America.Yet, despite the differences, these funeral services have much in common.

We are extremely happy with everyone we interacted with at Anglin Funeral Home. Over the past six months Mr Anglin interacted with us at least monthly, he made personal visits to the county courthouse and to Ft Donelson National Cemetery on our behalf. We are very appreciative of all the support, kindness, caring and compassion we received from the Anglin Funeral Home team.

Our mother just passed the day after Christmas after an extended illness. She had been so sick and weak, but they made her look absolutely amazing. She was 81 and looked to be the age of about 60. We we're extremely pleased with the outcome and the way they helped us throughout the whole process.
