Services
Arctic Ice Arena offers a wide variety of hockey programs and activities for participants of all ages and skill levels. If you're just starting out, don't miss our popular programs.

Instruction starts at the very beginning helping to build the child's confidence and teaches the student the basic skating skills of: balance, one- and two-foot glides, forward swizzles, forward pushing, backwards wiggles and swizzles, two-foot turns, walking sideways and two-foot snow plow stops.
TOT Hockey is designed to get our youngest players comfortable moving in their equipment, as well as get them ready for the Learn to Skate on the ice! During these 10 weeks, players will work on the following skills. As players progress through the class, on the last day players will receive a 'Report Card' of their progress, as well as our Coach's Recommendation on what class your player should be in next.
Using USA Hockey's ADM model of development and dividing the 60 minutes of ice time into practice stations, small area games, skill work, and cross ice scrimmages to maximize player touches and reinforce recently acquired skills to prepare them for Full Ice Jr Fury the next season!

Smaller spaces mean more opportunity for a player to touch the puck and ultimately improve their individual skills (Edge work, stickhandling, passing, shooting, and decision making).Because of the smaller ice surface, players will need to think quickly, and learn to do things in small, tight spaces.
The Arctic Ice Arena Skating School system is based on the Ice Skating Institute and WeSkate Skills Program. Learn to Skate classes will provide the youngest skaters the maneuverability and coordination for all types of skating. Evaluations are done on the last day of class and are used to gauge each student's progress in order to advance to the next level.
From birthday parties, to camps and clinics, or the ever-so-popular public skate, we always have a great variety of fun and exciting events taking place at Arctic Ice Arena. Come join the fun! Host your Meetings, Parties, Team Meals or other Family Event (Wedding/Baby showers, Graduation Parties) in our Facility.

Great facility layout w their 3 rinks. The only issue I noticed was that in the Championship rink, the rink puddles near the door and it can stay wet for 10-12 mins after a zam.

Although there are signs everywhere insisting that masks be worn, it's not enforced at all. Even employees don't wear masks. There are also queues for temperature checking, but nobody does it.

Maybe I am missing something with all the other reviews but this rink has been going downhill for many years. They don't clean it at all so the locker rooms and facilities are just flat out gross.
The ice is okay at best but with many games it does not freeze fast so there is puddles all over the place. Also the one rink seems like your playing in the dark. I am sure they are always busy with 3 rinks but time to put some money back into this place.
The positive is they do have a bar so helps you forget the feeling and smell of the place.

This place needs to update their info online! It says that it’s open til 11 pm on Saturday and when we came, we found that it was close.

Great rink, however the trophy cases and decorations need updating and the facilities could use some maintenance.

We started with learn to skate lessons with Coach Becca and just couldn’t get enough! She is so patient and amazing with kiddos (especially our 5 year old who doesn’t listen very well sometimes🙄) We started doing privates with her and our son loves it! He talks about it all week up until our next session! He is so receptive to what she is telling him and she makes it super fun!

The Pro shop management is Awesome as is the rest of the rink staff.
Took my daughter skating there for her first time, she loved it.
Based on the experience, we will be back to the Pro shop to order skates for both of us and weekly to skate!

A very nice, spacious, and modern arena outside Chicago. Rinks are well lit and have pretty good viewing from the stands. Can't speak about dressing rooms. Bar upstairs has superb staff. The layout on the second floor is a bit schizophrenic, though and has viewing of just one rink. Plenty of parking.

I wanted to take a moment to inform you of a recent issue I had with the staff at Arctic Ice Arena. My daughter has been enrolled in your learn to skate program for 3 sessions. We've been very happy with the instructors but I wanted to share an experience I had with the staff at Arctic Ice Arena. I had been trying to enroll my daughter in the Learn to Skate winter session for 2 weeks. My work schedule did not allow for me to visit in person so I was trying to get in contact with someone via phone to enroll. I left several messages and received no reply. When I had the opportunity to physically

Got time so Ill write about this rink. 3 sheets, daughter says they all skate fast and are well maintained. Locker rooms are decent size. (Ive seen some that look & smell like a closet.) Decent viewing area in all rinks. Good bar, downstairs snack bar is mediocre or it would be a 5 star. They even have TV's for all rinks in the bar which is cozy in size, but not large. Food is decent and service is acceptable in here. Bathrooms are almost always clean & properly maintained.
Fury is the main team at this complex, and has their own training facility & weight room in here. Not many

Well, it's been over four years now since my first review for Arctic and I feel very comfortable bumping my rating up a star to five. I've not only skated on all three rinks repetitively while playing hockey both in league play and pick up games, but I've ventured up to the Original Six Bar and bought merchandise in the pro shop below. I don't have one negative thing to say about this facility, and when you compare it to most of the other rinks in the general area, I'd have to say that this one comes out on top. In my prior review I'd mentioned the ice had some

I grew up as a competitive figure skater and I've been to plethora of rinks and I can attest to this one being in that handful of the finest.

I decided to finally stick around my area to skate and went here last week. I went for public skate which is available from 10am-12pm. However, those are broken down into 30 minute sessions (I thought it was a two hour session), which are $8. It's a bit pricey to pay that much for each half hour on a public skate, but I can understand the reasoning. There is hardly anyone on the ice during this time, which is great. I love having open ice and
