This was my first time going to the Tomahawk Lake. Picnic area and Cook-Out area has plenty of room for your Gathering.one of the Bathrooms was clean by the picnic area. The one closes to the lake was descent. The different active was cool and amazing, you will have fun. That's a separate charge for the actives. You can also have birthday party here. You can sit on the white sand by the lake to watch the children play in the lake.

Very nice lake and water park! The water is not that clear as other lakes but there’re a couple of options to have a good time…
There’re grills where you can make your own barbecue.
There’s a very nice area where you can seat and eat as well.
And is affordable also compare to other water parks.

Went on a Friday and it wasn't crowded. Nice location and we'll maintained. It was 91 degrees and close to 100 degrees real feel because of the high humidity. Although it was a very hot day it felt very comfortable in the shade the trees provided There's a bathroom with a couple of stalls for changing clothes. Bathroom needs updating like a few years ago. The air conditioning system was dripping on me while using the urinal. I looked up at the exposed ceiling and there's mold all over. The lake was nice and the crowd seemed okay. I didn't try the food. There was a shake shack near by. The picnic

I visited Tomahawk lake every summer as a child with my siblings and cousins and only have good memories. I thought it would be a great tradition to start this year with my own children and their cousins while we were in the area visiting. Boy was I wrong.
Pros -
The young woman who was working the booth in the parking lot was very nice. The young man, Luke working one of the water slides was also very nice.
Cons -
You pay $14 per person to get in, but that is only to use the lake. You must pay an additional $14 per person to ride the slides. (We had a party of 7) Today there are 5 slides

Beautiful place! Masks use were not enforced. My 4 and 5 yr. old kids had a blast in there. We went 1 day before Father's Day and it didn't feel too crowded, the earliest you go the less crowded it is. You can bring your own barbecue grill and cook or they sell fast food too. Safeguards were everywhere so feel your kids are safe

Short kids only and $$$. There are 2 areas of the lake with fun looking water activities but they are only for short kids. $15 person to enter the lake only to be too tall to use at 10 years old. Water slides were $16 per person but they were closed for 20-30mins for changing of the life guards! Why no coordination or staff! Everything $$. There was a sanitary napkin floating in water upon exit.....all day long.

Don't waist your time and money...this place is a dump. The lake water is filthy, staff members are nasty and the owners (more about them later) are pathetic excuses to run a business.
1- bring cash and a boatload. Prices on the website have not been updated so you pay per person to park and get to the lake.
2-Parking- you park on a hill and are very close to the car next to you. They try to jam in as much as possible. If someone accidentally dings your door you are on your own. Park at your own risk and own insurance.
3- Lake is dirty and rides (separate cost) are old.

A bit expensive.... Family of 4 - $50 or so to park and use picnic area. $60 for for our family to go on the slides. Mini golf & pedal boats ARE AN EXTRA COST. That was very disappointing so we didn't get to use the boats! Relatively small park, strict rules about adults not swimming in the kid section of lake, rides look worn, dated and dirty. The water is murky lake water which I suppose is expected but they could still do a much better job of cleaning and filtering. The bathrooms were absolutely FILTHY! They need someone cleaning throughout the day! Horrible food, definitely bring

It's very family oriented place. You can either bring your own food or buy something there. My 3 year old loved it because there were a lot of water activities for his age group. My older daughter loved it too because she went to water rides for the older kids. The Only problem in both areas was the water. It seems to be dirt underneath the sand so the water doesn't look clean. That's the only reason I will not be returning.

It's a great place to cool off, especially with kids. They have 4 areas. One for kids 4 ft and under. One for kids 5 ft and under. One for anyone. One for water slides that's separate admission. Fun play structures in the water mostly in the 4 ft and under zone. A few negatives. No diaper changing stations. No adults allowed in the 5 ft and under area. You have to watch kids from the shoreline. This was aggressively enforced today. They are slow/don't enforce the 4 ft and under area until you say something. So multiple times large kids would monopolize the young children

This place is the worst place I have ever ever ever been to. Not only are there only 3 rides for the kids but the employees are the rudest people I have ever met. We came just for the water park but had to pay for the lake which is the dirtiest lake I've ever seen. The only saving grace is CJ he was a doll.

This is a great family park with 8 Waterpark slides of all kinds and levels. The lines were reasonable and the wait wasn't too long. Among the activities for everyone were mini golf, paddle boats, bummer boats, obstacle swim area, regular swimming by height, all on the lake with a beautiful white sand beach. Lots of life guards around, plenty of chairs and tables and the food was snack food. They have a beer garden in the park and have grills and BBQ available plus green grass all around. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This is one of my favorite water parks! We discovered it last year while visiting relatives. We pay extra for the unlimited wristbands for the slides and it's totally worth it. The regular entrance fee is only for the lake and picnic area. We went again this year on the 4th of July. It was completely packed in the lake and picnic areas, but still very few people going on the slides (woohoo!). The employees were very pleasant and incredibly patient. We arrived at 9:30 (it opened at 9:00), and it took about fifteen minutes to go through the line to pay and get a parking spot. However, they have

I came here for 4th of July weekend which was probably an insane idea, but we really wanted to go swimming, plus originally we were going to Lake Hopatcong but they were filled ot capacity by 12 pm. Again we must not have had our coffee but crazily decided to go to Lake Tomahawk.
To start, we pulled up and the line in was already backed up for at least a mile with cars idling, anxiously waiting to get in. We fortunately came in from the opposite way so it was easier to gain entry. We did however pay about $30 to get in which I guess was normal? I am not entirely sure about that one.

What a Shame even before getting there. Here is the complaint I sent them:
To whom It May Concern,
Just spoke to a very unpleasant employee at you facility by the name of Mark Wallace. I inquired about bringing my RV into the facility because according to your website which states, "NO RV's, Motor Homes or large trucks, buses without reservations" to most people reading this It mean that you CAN bring an RV you just need a reservation. According to your nasty employee I was reading this wrong. I suggested he look at the website but he kept insisting I was reading it wrong. It

We were the first few people that arrived really early in the morning. The scenery is so breathtaking and relaxing with beautiful tall trees surrounding Tomahawk Lake.
There were already many lifeguards on duty which parents can feel safe. My goddaughter loved the Papoose Land section of the water park because there were more fun stuff to do such as climbing the nets, trying to sit on the floating turtle, climbing across a family of alligators. I saw school of fish swimming near us...awww!
Fun rides: Swan boat (for 4 people) Paddle boat (me and my goddaughter) and Row boat (my bestie)
