Definitely worth the drive. Dr. Charles and his staff are very friendly from the phone call you make for your appointment until the moment you leave from your vision exam.
Before, I went to an eye doctor that made me feel “stupid” and awful for asking any questions related to my vision. I even got yelled at.
However, my encounter with Dr. Charles was very calm and informative. I told him about my past experiences with my previous eye doctor, and he assured me that there would be no yelling or attitude. He establishes excellent rapport with his customers and knew exactly what I needed to correct

Dr Charles gave care that was above and beyond. I was in a bind because my son jabbed a pen in my eye and I was searching for eye drs that were not closed to avoid going to the ER. He was closing in 30 min but agreed to see me. He gave me his cell phone number in case I had any issues and called me the next day to check up on me even though I was going to have a follow up appt in a few days. I couldn’t believe the attention that he gave. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an eye dr.

I've always had a great experience with CVC. Have been going to them for a very long time. Around 10 plus years. My only complaint is that they have some strange office hours. For example, on Fridays they close at 12:00. Its just very inconvenient for those who work like i do. And its not just Friday; Monday through Thursday is the same thing they just have random weird office hours. Im my opinion its a pain to deal with whenever you have a fulltime job and have to make arrangements with their weird hours. Other than that they are very friendly and the doctor is very knowledgeable and explains

I've been going here for around 14 years and have always had a great experience. Dr. Charles is courteous and always remembers the last visit; even if it was a year prior. I never wore contacts until I started going here and have been wearing them ever since. I've gone through a few brands due to product changes/discontinuations but they've always been helpful and make sure you're comfortable with what you receive. Don't hesitate because this place is great.

I called at 9:57 to set up an appointment. I was told that they technically open at 10:00 and was asked to call back in 5 minutes. Fine, but don't answer your phone until 10:00. When I did call later, I found out that they no longer are within my insurance network, but they would be glad to work with me regardless.

Dr. Charles is very thorough and explains things in detail, including options when something needs to be done, whether glasses, contacts or even surgery. He clearly wants his patients to be happy with their care. I am so impressed with his customer service and that of his staff. They are always kind, helpful and professional. There are a lot of doctors offices that could learn a lot from this practice!
