Services
Here at Great Turning Healing Center, Susannah and her team offer a pathway to health that includes body, mind and heart. Our primary tool is Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, a complete system that includes nutrition and health education. We evaluate your symptoms and look to the root cause of your pain or illness.
Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Environmental Studies, University of California, Santa Cruz. Nationally Certified: National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Susannah began her training in natural medicine in her teens with the study of nutrition. After receiving a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Environmental Studies, she taught ecology in the National Parks.

Dr. Paula Marchionda is the Medical Director of Great Turning Healing. In her own practice Dr. Marchionda focuses on providing care for the whole person by addressing the root cause of illness. She is passionate about supporting our bodies to heal themselves. While double board certified in Integrative and Preventive Medicine she is also an expert in cancer survivorship, wellness, and functional and regenerative medicine.

The treatment I have received here has been excellent, especially through the use of electroacupuncture. As someone who is uncomfortable with needles, this treatment is surprisingly comfortable. Normal acupuncture is very relaxing for me and the only way I can describe electroacupuncture is to liken it to putting on a nice warm blanket; it is a surprisingly soothing treatment.

I have been working with Susannah for almost a year now and have seen significant improvement in my asthma symptoms and sinus problems. Susannah has guided me through changes in diet and exercise as well as beginning a regular meditation schedule.
