To ensure that a student is receiving a complete and in-depth understanding of the practice of Chinese medical herbalism, we have developed three primary programs toward your Certification as an Herbalist. The descriptions of the three sections below outline Program One: Comprehensive Herbalist Training.
A review of important categories and systems of traditional Chinese medicine integrated with a review of crucial diagnostic criteria. This class is a foundation for the study of Chinese herbal medicine. Students find that this seminar not only provides them with a concise review of Chinese theory, but also helps to provide them with a deeper understanding of how to approach clinical diagnosis.
Kenneth began his studies of Chinese Medicine in 1976 with Korean Master Se Han Kim and Taoist Master Ni Hua Ching. In 1986 he graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, California. He has been a student of Tai Chi Chuan since 1975. In the early 1980's Ken traveled extensively and lived in Southeast Asia to study meditation.
When I started the Comprehensive Practitioner Training Program in 2019, I thought about finding something to help with my back pains and issues. Then I thought, 'Hey, this will also help my family.' As a person who has never studied Chinese Herbal medicine before, I have found that the Institute of Chinese Herbology was EVERYTHING I've been looking for to help family and self.
To ensure that a student is receiving a complete and in-depth education in the practice of Chinese medical herbalism, we have developed the following programs. You may register for one of the programs below and receive a Certificate of Completion after successfully completing all coursework. In order to qualify for the Certified Herbalist Certificate from ICH you must complete the entire series of courses listed below.
