Valerie has been a stylist for over 30 years, for the past thirteen she has called Asheville home she's developed a loyal and friendly following with her clients. She has a passion and a commitment to the beauty industry, taking care of people and developing good friendships throughout her career. Her commitment to the industry has blossomed into opening Roots To Ends Salon.
Creating easy to wear, beautiful hairstyles using Redken color and Neuma haircare products. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, traveling, reading, and relaxing with friends and family. After earning her B.S. in Textiles from the University of Rhode Island & dabbling in the world of professional theatre costuming, Amanda decided to pursue her true passion, hairstyling.

Michelle Connolly is fantastic! She is very timely, professional, and compassionate. I go to her for eyebrow waxing, hair dying, and hair cuts. Pricing is great also for the services. I love this salon and won't go anywhere else.

5 stars! Highly recommended this salon. Location is great, parking ample. Nice and clean inside. Decor is lovely. Stylists are very professional. There isn't a feeling like you are on top of each other. It's not loud inside like some salons. Quaint and charming feeling. I like the quality of hair products the salon offers.

I live downtown so this location is perfect for me. Close to downtown but without the parking hassle. Plenty of free parking and a lot of character. The decor truly reflects Valerie, from beautiful antique stylist stations to calm colors on walls, it's welcoming. Amanda, my stylist, shines as always.

I just followed my stylist Amanda over to this great new space. I love Roots to Ends. It is a beautiful, newly redone space. Easy peasy location with plenty of parking. Whew- no more planning around parking… down town! The folks here are warm and welcoming. Same knowledgeable/ talented stylist in a new cute and convenient location.
