Founded as a regional lab in the late 80's by J. Scott Becker (Board Certified and Licensed Pedorthist), JSB Orthotics & Medical Supply, Inc. is located on the west coast of Florida. The company currently employs 20 full time and 2 part time employees and since 1993 expanded services to the entire continental United States.
The Eliminator line is our group of all-purpose sport orthotics. JSB's system of varying material thickness based on patient's weight, activity and physiology, assures your patient both maximum orthotic performance and optimum fit. The line includes our Eliminator I, II, III & IV models. Action-Flex products are designed for patients unable to tolerate the rigidity of traditional sport orthotics.
The ProThotics family of orthoses have been biomechanically designed to meet the exacting standards used by many professional footcare providers. Designed by a group of leading medical professionals, ProThotics orthoses provide a cost-effective method for treatment of many clinical pathologies diagnosed by podiatrists, and other footcare professionals.
The Ultimate "SB" Stabilizer Brace functionality is to stabilize gait, improve postural balance/ sway, provide stabilization in the ankle joint and to reduce the risk for fall. It is anticipated that the patient will benefit functionally with the use of this device. The custom device is utilized in an attempt to reduce the mortality/ morbidity of falling.
A more rigid ankle articulation restricts ankle dorsiflexion and plantarflexion to a range under 5 degrees without disrupting a smooth contact and heel rise phase of gait. This model is suited for treatment of severe PTTD, mild dropfoot conditions as well as degenerative arthritis of the ankle and hindfoot.
