Sego's Home Medical Equipment has been serving Central Florida's home medical equipment and supply needs since 1977 and is one of the largest retail suppliers in the area. We are a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, Homelink, and Medwaiver. We participate with most major insurance plans and work closely with the Veterans Administration.

Medicare recognized contracted supplier in Central Florida for round one of competitive bidding. Highly qualified staff who maintain professional licenses such as a Registered Pharmacist, Respiratory Therapists, Orthotic Fitters, and Mobility Specialists.

Brittani was so absolutely wonderful in helping my grandmother with her medical equipment. She was so professional and knowledgeable and just down right nice to talk to. My grandmother has alzheimers and constantly repeats the same story over and over again like a broken record and Brittani was just so helpful and patient with her. Spoke with Daniella yesterday and she called to let me know that my father's insurance was needing to be changed and explained everything so I could understand what was going on and what I needed to do. she waited for me to go find the new insurance and everything worked out great! I called to get information on some medical equipment and Brittany was extremely helpful! I had no idea what I actually might need or how much my insurance would cover. She answered all my questions and even recommended some equipment that would be of better use than what I thought I would need. She also explained the insurance process. Best customer service! I canceled my order for a wheelchair after being told for roughly 3 weeks they were waiting on the physical therapist input. The only way I got any information at all was through calling them. Based on my experience I would not recommend this company to anyone. I chose a different company with a good reputation and am happy with the new progress.

Find a different provider. Like other posts here, they are rude on the phone and extremely inefficient. As soon as I am allowed, I will be going to another provider of my supplies.

They are sooo rude. They act like they are doing you a favor buying from them. I had a prescription for a nebulizer a week later they're telling me they don't take Medicaid that's OK with me because I have CIGNA I gave them my CIGNA card they copied it and they still say she has Medicaid. Then the lady lies and says that my doctors office told them I had Medicaid my doctors office never said that because I've never had Medicaid Cigna is what I have so she tries to talk over me saying oh my gosh oh my gosh I said you can try and talk over me but you really need to be listening

Communication is practically non-existent. Phone calls are never returned. Information as simple as a date an order was placed is so "privileged" that only the owner has access to it! Requests to speak to the owner are not honored. I refuse to call them again. My case manager at my insurance company is taking over. Perhaps the company will be a bit more responsive to the people who are going to pay the bill!
