Alpha Gymnastics
Alpha Gymnastics offers developmental gymnastics and competitive team for boys and girls ages 6 months to 18 years old. We are proud to be ranked one of the top clubs for competitive gymnasts in the Pacific Northwest. Established in 1992, Alpha Gymnastics has gone through a few different owners, names, and life cycles; but our key philosophy has never changed.

We continue to strive to educate and inspire our students and athletes but our mission is to develop quality gymnastics so that gymnasts can develop their potential to reach their dreams. The coaching and executive staff is dedicated to the continued growth and education of its members. Our philosophy places value on the individual, to help build a strong self esteem with character and integrity.

Signed up for the free introductory class and was put in for he wrong age group and wrong class. Front desk woman was unsympathetic. She said my child could jump into the class that started 15 minutes prior. My child is pretty shy this was not a very welcoming start. Even the way she spoke to my child about putting his things in the cubby was very cold. On another note this place is incredibly dirty. From the shelves when you first come in to the parents waiting area. It looks and smells like it hasn’t had a proper cleaning in awhile. The whole front office is cluttered with papers and forms

Critical: Value
It doesn't make sense that the only classes for 3 year old's (who go to daycare) are at 2:30 or in the morning, they don't even have a class on the weekend. because my daughter goes to day care she cant go to any class.

The coaches as Alpha Gymnastics are the best I’ve seen. My daughter works out here 16 hours a week and still begs for more. The coaches always have the child’s best in mind with everything they do. We’ve been to other gyms in the area that are not the same. Thank you Alpha coaches for truly loving our kids.

I would like to express my appreciation to a great coach from Russia - Natalia. Probably the best value of the classes. Not easy to deal with little kids. She is able keep kids focused during the class and get results. Kids are improving in a short period of time. If you have little ones (especially if Russian speaking family) - that is the best place to bring your child

Place isn't half bad, kids love it.
The problem is with the uptight entitled adults that care nothing about anyone but themselves. These foolish people acting as parents would rather see you harmed then be inconvenienced in the slightest.

This is a review of a team parent.
I cannot say enough of good words about Alpha Gymnastics! Leaving a review at the time of Covid it might be important to point out that the gym is VERY CLEAN. Coaches try hard to make sure all the protocols are followed. Athletes wear masks where it is called for, and take them off when it presents a risk due to the level and complexity of the activities.
The coaches come from very diverse backgrounds and really add to the quality and feel of the gym. The athletes are also very different: there are those who are extremely talented, those who are super competitive

I have one kid in boys team, and one in girls. This gym is amazing! It has a very special environment that kids never want to go home.

We really wanted to try this establishment out for our family. We signed up to do a free trial class and hopefully enroll during their one day special of reduced tuition for that month and for new members reduced enrollment fees.
Unfortunately, my kids had a fever and we decided to keep them home for obvious reasons. My husbands phone log shows he called from 10 am until noon three times. The voicemail was full so he couldn't leave a voicemail. Then we emailed them to explain and to see if we could still register today, during their special without the kids coming in.
The email responses were

My 3 kid’s started going here a few months ago and they love it! We all love Alpha Gymnastics! Everyone there is helpful and nice. We had to reschedule a class and they worked with us to get us a different class for that week.
The coaches are wonderful with my kids. My son can be a handful but they are so great with him. My kids are always so excited to go to their classes.

We recently moved back to Alpha Gymnastic after a couple of years away. The coaches are wonderful and skilled with the kids. I love how the coaches work with the parents for what is the best for the kids and what works for the parents. Not a lot of gyms will do that. My daughter has never been able to do her cartwheel well. Just after one class, Coach Natalia was able to correct her and help her get it right.
One of the reviewer brought up issues with the transition from Eastside Gymnastic. We were part of the gym during that time. To be fair, the coaching was great then and it is great now. I

Oh my goodness we have so much fun at Alpha Gymnastic baby gymnastics! Colleen is interactive and great with the kids she works her butt off! Every time we go we are doing something new, balloons, bubbles, rattles, slides, parachutes, bouncy balls of all sizes, latter, courses, stuffed animals, trampolines. We roll, we bounce, crawl, strengthen our core, learn to move and coordinate our body, learn to listen, socialize, and share. I cant recommend it enough!

It was sad but we decided to drop Tech Gymnastics. We liked our coaches but organization is just terrible.
Once we came for kids lesson and we were told it was cancelled. It takes 40 min to drive there. And yes, I have a phone and email!
Once a coach from another class was absent and they decided to mix the classes and we got twice more kids in our group.
Once we came for the class and my child was alone there, because no one was registered for this class but her. She had only one hour lesson instead of one our and a half and class had been cancelled. And yes, I still had my phone and email
