Some of our clients who use companionship services have symptoms such as vision impairment, hearing impairment, forgetfulness (early stage dementia), joint pain (arthritis), shortness of breath, tire easily, difficulty balancing, dizziness, and more. Southern Crescent Care provides Certified Nurse Aides to assist with hands on non-medical care.
Along with companion care services, they may also assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, transfers and walking, exercise, toileting and incontinence care, medication monitoring and more. Some of the diagnoses our personal care clients have are heart disease, stroke, dementia/Alzheimer's, ALS, Parkinson's, MS, diabetes, neuropathy, macular degeneration, arthritis, osteoporosis, and more.

Services
It is the mission of Southern Crescent Care to provide excellent in-home services to those who are experiencing difficulties related to illness, surgery, or the aging process. Those receiving in-home care services include but are not limited to elderly, handicapped, convalescing individuals and those who are functionally impaired.
Southern Crescent Care provides stimulating conversation and friendship. Some of the services we provide include transportation, errands, planning visits and trips, managing appointments, medication reminders, light housekeeping, laundry, linen changes, and meal preparation. Caregivers assist while you are in the hospital, with discharge planning, and while you are recovering at home.
Caregivers are the key to ensuring our clients have a safe and healthy environment. Southern Crescent Care, In-Home Care is dedicated to providing you with the best service available. Dear Mary and Staff, I want to thank you for all your help over the last 5 and a half years in providing care for my wife, Patricia. She passed peacefully at Sacred Journey Hospice. She sure left a hole in my life and I feel so empty without her. However, I rejoice that she is at peace now and can dance and sing to the Lord.
