We celebrate spring with the abundant appearance in northern Ohio, of those sunny trumpet faced daffodils! Specials and everything yellow will be part of the celebration! Join us Thursday, 10am to 7:30 pm and 10am to 6pm, Friday and Saturday. Uncle John's famous Plant Bar is ready to accept orders for your Spring Planters, Patio Pots and Moss Baskets.
School or garden club tours are a great way to cultivate an interest in the beauty of nature and gardening.
Tours are given to single or multiple groups of 15-20 and include visits to the retail greenhouses and surrounding display areas, as well as our production greenhouses and planting machines giving you a glimpse into the growing process from the smallest of starter plants to the finished products that are ready to be taken home and planted in the garden.

Selection: Choose herbs that look fresh and clean with no discoloration or damage. The goal is to protect the natural oils that are responsible for giving herbs their flavors and aromas. Anything that prematurely crushes the herb leaves is going to reduce the oils. Storage: Wash the herbs in cool (not cold) water right before.
In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup room temperature butter, salted or unsalted, 2 teaspoons lemon juice, and about 1/3 cup finely chopped fresh herbs with a hand held mixer, stopping and scraping the bowl and beaters often, until well blended. Add a twist of freshly ground pepper, too. To 1 cup of your favorite mayonnaise, add 2 teaspoons lemon juice and about 1/4 to 1/3 cup chopped fresh herbs.

I just had the BEST experience here purchasing a Christmas tree!!! The facility is larger than I expected. Inventory of home decor, house plants and trees was impressive for December and although a bit pricey, less so than a Gales or Petitis and I'll pay the extra to support small, local business - every time. Employees were "seasoned," extremely friendly and experienced. I will be going back to shop for Christmas presents.

This hidden gem is absolutely amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They not only have pumpkins of all sizes but they're the only store within a 15 mile radius from me that had pumpkins 2 days before Thanksgiving. When you enter their shop it's super festive boutique packed with seasonal goods and decor as well as fashion clothing. I'm looking forward to my next trip to this store. Keep up the great work 👍

We had a wedding and ordered a large quantity of mums ahead of time. Uncle John’s knew they were for a wedding and knew when the date of the wedding was. I recognize that they can not control nature, but they do know nature, so when mums were not going to be in bloom, they being the experts we assumed they were should have told us to have a plan b-
-Instead they sold the mums assuring us they would be in bloom by Sunday.
-When no blooms were emerging, they reassured our calls of concerns saying you just need to put them in the sun and they will bloom
-Another day of full sun and another call
