Services
WESCO Gas & Welding Supply, Inc. (WESCO) started in 1961 in Prichard, Alabama. Five years later, Ron Pierce joined the company as a registered Professional Engineer. In 1974, with the support of his family, he bought out his partner and became President and CEO. For the next four decades the company grew from one location to eleven providing quality welding, industrial, and safety supplies, as well as medical, industrial and specialty gases.
WESCO is a factory authorized service repair center for the major equipment manufacturers we represent. This means that you have access to factory expertise, approved and updated manuals, OEM parts and warranty service. Service can be performed at our site or at your facility. We also offer a 24-hour emergency hotline available to our customers, call (251) 457-8681.
Customers can rely on WESCO as a sole supplier of Industrial, Specialty, High Purity, and Mixed Gases. We have an automated fill plant in Prichard, Alabama with the capability of filling several banks of cylinders at one time. This ensures that you will receive your gases in a timely and efficient manner.

I was in Alabama working at Barry steam.
The contractor I worked for didn't allow soft bands.
Lucky for me wesco has a great inventory.
They had the hard hat adapter for my Miller hood.
Miller, Lincoln, radnor, whatever brand of consumable or accessory you need these guys have it.
Super helpful. Super knowledgeable, and the prices weren't outrageous.
I highly highly recommend theses guys.

The people in Wesco are some of the friendliest and most knowledge that I have had the pleasure to deal with. I can call them with issues and if they cannot help me they point me in the correct direction, even if it has been a competitor. I do not even shop around anymore because their level of service far exceeds anything experienced today. It is a pleasure going in and just talking with them. Highly recommend them for all of your welding needs.

I'm a student at Wallace college. I went inside wesco to purchase a file card. The new help they have hired asked if I needed help finding anything but didn't even know what I was looking for. He then followed me around as if I were going to steal something. He was very unprofessional. Lost my business permanently!
