Resolve Physical Therapy was founded by Jenny McAteer, DPT so that she could serve the community and each of her patients with personalized care and give attention to detail that is deserved by each and every person that is entrusting her with their health. She has a reputation for providing a welcoming environment that can actually make physical therapy enjoyable!
Jenny is very thorough so she can find the source of your problem, not just treat the symptoms, to help ensure the injury doesn't reoccur. She aims to educate her patients about their diagnosis, arm them with proper exercises they can do at their home or gym, and ensure they are doing their everyday activities with proper mechanics.

My name is Jenny McAteer and I have been a Physical Therapist for nearly 10 years now. I graduated with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID. I have always enjoyed connecting with people and strive to be personable, but also knowledgeable and thorough with each person I come into contact with.
For many illnesses and injuries, surgery is often a necessary solution and, depending on the severity of the illness or injury in question, is almost always nerve-wracking. But physical therapy can help the recovery and healing process after a major surgery. This is known as post-operative care, or post-surgery, recovery or rehabilitation.
A clinical approach utilizing skilled, specific hands-on techniques, including but not limited to manipulation/mobilization, used by the physical therapist to diagnose and treat soft tissues and joint structures for the purpose of modulating pain; increasing range of motion (ROM); reducing or eliminating soft tissue inflammation; inducing relaxation; improving contractile and non-contractile tissue repair, extensibility, and/or stability; facilitating movement; and improving function.
Vestibular rehabilitation is an exercise-based program, designed by a specialized physical therapist, to improve balance and reduce dizziness-related problems. The evaluation of patient's symptoms, review medical history and identify any balance problems in gait, neck motion, visual stability, as well as the examination of other potential problem areas.

All therapists at Resolve Physical Therapy possess an outstanding skill set! Additionally there is a wonderful caring “family” atmosphere and sincere concern for your well being and personal recovery journey. My issue was painful shoulder impingement … Jen competently got me back to a normal state of being. Wahoo!

Due to living an active lifestyle, I've certainly experienced quite a few physical therapy clinics over the years while rehabilitating from sports-induced knee, back and shoulder injuries. My latest was the reattachment of my pronator tendon at my elbow which I tore playing golf.
I spent about 6 weeks with Resolve PT, primarily working with Jen, but also having a few sessions with Maddie. I found both to be extraordinarily skilled and fully committed to getting me back to playing golf again at a high level, even stronger than before my injury. Rather than just focusing on a exercise plan to address

I went in for a running evaluation as more of a tune-up to prevent injury rather than treatment for an existing injury. Jen did a great assessment that identified areas that I could benefit from strengthening. It was spot on as I was starting to have minor "niggles" in my right hip which also showed up in both my strength test and my running form video. I also received a lot of positive feedback on my overall form so I didn't leave feeling that I needed to change my running form. Overall, it was a great experience and something I would consider doing again annually.

For a few weeks, I’ve been going to Resolve to address some softball-induced knee pain and I’ve really come to enjoy going to my appointments. Everyone is so personable and inviting, it’s easy to forget you’re at physical therapy. Maddie is very knowledgeable and I completely trust her guidance in getting me back to form. She is a fantastic PT to work with and I’m happy to know she’s around for the next time I inevitably injure myself. If you’re looking for physical therapy, I strongly recommend giving Resolve a shot.

RESOLVE Physical Therapy….the absolute BEST PT’s I have EVER experienced! The whole team is professional, through and through, and absolutely the friendliest. Jen is a master in shoulder rehab, not that she doesn’t help with other ‘issues’, but my experience was perfect! I was reticent to go to PT due to a previous bad experience with another PT office, but Jen alleviated that fear on my first visit. I am amazed at her knowledge and the great modalities she and the team have. I recommend Jen and the team (Jenny (owner), Maddie and Taneya (admin coordinator)) unconditionally!

Resolve Physical Therapy hands down is the best therapy in town! From the beginning of stepping into the office you are greeted with friendly faces! Jen has been my PT for 5 months now and she has not only rehabbed my shattered ankle back, but she has also given me the confidence I needed to walk again. Jen and Jenny are so personable and take the time to listen to your concerns and continually push you to your fullest ability’s! I would highly recommend Resolve Physical Therapy!

Resolve Physical Therapy offers truly one-on-one physical therapy. You meet with the same Physical Therapist every visit and build a relationship - not PT aids or assistants.
I have been seeing Jen at Resolve for four months now and she has helped me identify where my knee pain originates from and what steps I need to take to get back to running, biking and skiing without knee pain. She gives you 100% of her attention during your visits and reasonable at home exercises to achieve your goals. The clinic is incredibly clean, dog friendly, and has everything you need for a full recovery.
