I was able to call and get an appointment for a couple of days later with Stephanie. As someone with curly hair it’s always scary to find a new stylist who is comfortable and likes to cut curls. Thankfully I was matched up with Stephanie who did an amazing job. The salon was extremely professional, homey and absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was friendly and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

The owner was very nice and the stilts that was doing hair across from me was nice as well she would check in on me and ask how I was doing even though she didn’t do my hair (She had long blond hair) that’s why I am giving 2 stars, but my hair stylist was very rude. I asked her to layer front face more because I don’t like when it’s the same length as the rest of the hair and she told me she will do it for me but I will look ugly. I had Tracy as my stylist. It was the first time I had been there. Very friendly staff. Very clean place. Annie at the front desk is super friendly loved her. Tracy was amazing. The staff and customers there were VERY nice. When Annie saw I was handicapped and using a walker they held the front door open for me and saw me to and seated me at Tanisha’s work station. Tanisha washed and colored my hair perfectly. We all made small talk during the service and the owner came over and welcomed me. I will be returning 😃

I came to Bavilon with high hopes after I met the owner and they told me about the salon. I should have hesitated since the owner is not a hairdresser himself.. After my first color, I came back to fix my grey hairs I left with a shiny copper orange scalp and an ear-ache from the backwash from the clogged hair-washing sinks. I explicitly told them before each color that I didn't like red or orange hair on me. When I called in to get it fixed within 5 days they were hard to reach and unwilling to help after I heard so much about their 5 day free fix policy. They told me to go buy a shampoo

I'm extremely picky about my hair. I've had many bad haircuts over the years. We moved here and I scheduled a haircut at Bavilon. I was really impressed! Susan talked with me for quite awhile about what type of hairstyle would work for my hair and how to maintain it. She was so detailed and the cut was amazing! Now, our entire family goes to Bavilon. Susan and Crystal are excellent! You can tell, they really love what they do and care about their customers. They are also not afraid to tell you if a certain cut wouldn't work for your hair. I went to Bavilon salon in March to get my hair dyed only, and I was pleasantly surprised. The stylist (I believe her name is Tammy) was able to closely match my existing color so she only charged me for a root touch up, yay. She also answered all my questions and recommended awesome inexpensive products that I still use to this day. I enjoyed coming here and if anyone asked I would recommend them to other people in Vail.

DO NOT MAKE APPOINTMENTS WITH LIZ/ELIZABETH! She is absolutely incompetent, rude, and just downright unpleasant. I'm naturally a brunette and asked for a full color matrix to go blonde instead of highlights. She touched my hair in disgust, had to consult other hairdressers about dying my hair, and then said I needed additional products because my hair is weak. She then told me that my hair will look worse than it does when it grows out because my roots will grow out in one line. My husband and son have been using this salon for awhile and up until now it has been a good experience. The reviews show the staff as either very friendly or very rude. I learned today that if you don't have any issues, they are very friendly. But if there is the slightest bit of an issue, the man at the front desk gets very snippy, will not allow you to speak and turns things into a very bad experience. Went to this salon on a whim and I'm so glad I did! Being new to the area, I had been searching for a place to get my hair done and wanted to support local businesses. They fit me in on a Saturday as a walk-in for a cut and color. Tammy was absolutely wonderful to work with and I felt very welcome there. I went in for a medium-length cut with long layers. It seemed ok when I left, but I got home & discovered the entire cut was crooked. There are chunks of my hair that are longer than others. And my stylist did a terrible job with my layers. They start and stop awkwardly. I ended up paying $50+ for the worst haircut of my life.

Maxi is a rock star! Decided to take the leap and finally get rid of the red and go towards my natural gray. Now we all know this, will take time lol. Well, i went in today and she got me from multi color red/ violet tones to beautiful brown/blonde hombre style highlights. It came out WAY better than i expected it to for a first round of many. A color magician with a great cut. Super friendly staff that make you feel right at home. This, is my new spot!

I had Liz as the hairdresser, and she did a perm for me, and it turned out great! She listened to exactly what I wanted, paid attention to the little things I told her my hair does, and what I ended up with is perfect, natural looking curly hair. I've Ben meaning to write this review for awhile now.. I wanted a change and decided I was check this place out.. They aren't far from my house and I'm all about supporting local businesses...I planned on getting highlights and a trim.. I went in and the hairdresser I had an appointment with seemed super sweet..I was excited.

Tried this place twice but was an expensive disaster. One owner did his best to make my cut and color right, but hairdresser was just not into it and had negative attitude and energy. The place is very clean and might have just been luck of draw but not happy with results and I know beauticians are not magicians but it was lack of positive attitude . They did redo hair but really acted like it was a huge favor when I got there and one owner had practically begged me to come back and try again while other owner and hairdresser rather arrogant

I made an appointment here to get a haircut, decided when I came in that I'd also really love to have color done and they were incredibly gracious about figuring out what I wanted and how they could do it for me. I've been going to this salon for two years now and Lisa does my entire family's hair. The prices are reasonable and she always gives a great cut. The owner is very friendly and always has fresh coffee and baked goods there. I also get my eyebrows waxed each time.
