In 1993 MacDermid Design, Ltd. was founded by Doug MacDermid. He left his day job of 8 years in the welding & fabrication industry for his garage. His passion for working with metal helped him outgrow the garage a year later in 1994 when he took his small business to the Scottsdale Airpark. There he worked with clients to fit their design needs to his abilities resulting in high quality parts and a reputation for his work in the local community.
Our Trumpf 2020R CNC Punching Machine gives us the unique ability to perform forming operations such as embossing, countersinking, engraving, extruding, tapping, and more while the part is being cut from raw stock. Handling these processes at the same time significantly reduces the labor put into the part thus reducing customers cost while at the same time providing a product made with increased precision.
