At the West Haven Academy of Karate in New Braunfels, Texas you will be taught the Mi Guk Kwan style of the classical Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do. My home away from home. My family outside of my family. I've been training here for 6 years and I can't tell you how much I have genuinely loved every moment of it. Dont just take my word for it come on in. I hope to see more people training. As I believe everybody should learn some type of self-defense to protect themselves, the ones they love or hold dear, and even their neighbor amongst the one's who cannot defend themselves. The more people that people uphold what is good the less room there is for evil to stand on.

We have been with Master Riley for 4 years! Our son started when he was four with Master Riley's karate-a-tot program and I could not have picked a better instructor or school! We love that he teaches them discipline and self respect. Master Riley is a true master at what he does. Our 2 older kids have attended for about 4 years, and in that time he has instilled many qualities that will serve them as adults. When our younger two kids were old enough to start, my wife and I started with them as well. Now all 6 of us attend. Master Riley is able to keep all of us challenged and engaged even though we are all at widely different skill levels.

I've been training here with daughter for a year now. Great place to work out, excellent curriculum, patient and comprehensive instruction. Master Riley is one of the greatest martial arts instructors I have ever seen in my 13 years of karate experience. West Haven is the best place to take your kids to learn Karate! Master Riley is a great role model for my son and daughter and I look forward to their growth, in part influenced from what they learn under his leadership.
