From the moment I walked in "Richard" made me feel at home. Seems like an awesome environment and very family friendly! I look forward to having my kids learn martial arts.

Best martial arts in the San marcos area and beyond. They offer everything from boxing , Haganah, Taekwondo and my personal favorites muay thai and Brazilian jiu jitsu. The instructors did a phenomenal job at making me feel welcome my first week there even though I was very nervous. I have since found a family in all of the members they and will be a lifelong martial artist because of this place.

This is in response to a completely absurd comment left by "Mike" a few days ago. - you don't know what you are talking about, sir, as your assessment couldn't be further from the truth. As a 60 year old "older client" (and also "educated" by the way "Mike"), I have been a student at Diaz Martial Arts for over 3 years. I started in IPTT and added Haganah and Muay Thai soon after. I am consistently at the gym 4 to 5 days a week and in all that time I have NEVER been disrespected by anyone, staff or student, nor have I ever seen any newcomer disrespected or treated negatively. I recently joined Diaz Martial Arts as a beginner and it has been wonderful since day one. Mr. Diaz is a very emphatic and talented instructor. I am learning a lot thanks to the wonderful instructors and peers. I highly recommend this to anyone that is looking to get in shape and looking for for a new hobby.

I haven’t been going to Diaz for very long but you can tell within the first few minutes at this school that they train for quality. Central Texas is fortunate to have training of this caliber available locally. Additionally the instructors are very amicable and easy to communicate with. The class schedule and prices really cannot be beat especially considering the quality of the education. I would recommend this school for everyone from beginners looking for a hobby to people seeking to compete professionally.

The best place to get quality martial arts training. Very rare to find a place where the head instructor/ owner who is a black belt and teaches in every discipline they offer. I’ve been attending for over 3 years and it has always felt like family.

Diaz Martial Arts is a fantastic place to train for both the casual beginner and the experienced martial artist. I've been doing martial arts for close to ten years now and Mr. Diaz is among the most knowledgeable and talented teachers I've had the pleasure of learning from. In addition to having achieved mastery in many styles of martial arts he is also a great teacher, two things that don't always go hand in hand. If you're in San Marcos and looking for a place to train, either to get in shape or to learn self defense, consider dropping by Diaz.

I did not like his attitude after I stated I didnt want to pay belt fees and didnt care about belts, I believe He took offense and told Me we were done , I thought I was the customer and he was the business man, Sorry I am to old and to wise to be going to a place where people have that kind of demeanor. PS Mr Diaz did call and did apologise I do appreciate that, I did watch him train his class and He is a freindly instructor and was good with his students, I cannot dispute that, but the school is not for Me.

Came to Diaz Martial Arts with zero experience with Martial arts, new to Texas, and didn't know anyone who trained here. Walked in to check it out kind of expecting a lot of tough guys and a serious attitude, but found myself surrounded by the a bunch of kind and friendly people. I now attend 4 days a week and I absolutely love it! My confidence in the gym reflects in my life everyday. Coach Diaz is full of wisdom and years of experience. Not only that, he is ultimately patient and happy to work with anyone of any age, race, color, etc. Diaz Martial Arts is a family, and I am so honored to be a

When I first started looking into self-defense classes, DMA was the first place I seriously considered. It took a while before I built up the courage to actually go to see what it was all about and as terrifying as it was to take that first step, I don't regret it, not at all. Ever since I started taking classes here I'm constantly amazed everyday at the people here. Everyone is really nice and willing to help you get better. Mr. Diaz makes every day fun and a bit challenging, he's just great overall we need more people like him. Every one else here is just as awesome. You literally learn something
