What a great experience and hair cut. I've been to about a dozen salons in the 12 yrs I've lived here, but Tammy is someone special.
I have thick, coarse, wavy hair that I've struggled to get in the condition I'd like. She pulled up a stool and talked hair with me... she had such great tips that no one else has ever shared with me. It is obvious that she is very knowledgeable, and wants to share and help. Today was my second time coloring with henna and getting a haircut with Tammy. Not only is she incredibly talented, she's also really kind and sweet! I love the henna color and my new haircut. She has great advice for folks with hair loss issues, as well. She's taking lots of important precautions because of the coronavirus: taking temperatures, giving clients a medical mask, required handwashing, and wearing a mask and face visor herself. Highly recommend!

I had a great first experience here getting my hair done. After so much running around every day, getting to sit down and relax is nearly priceless. I got the natural ammonia-free color which looks great. However, the hair stylist raised the price on me as I was sitting there and I don't know if that's stylist code for saying, "I don't want to do your hair." Can someone help me out? I'm right in the middle of my 5 week hair appointment and I don't know if I should book her again. Thx.

Went to the salon today for the first time and got a fantastic cut and color from Alexis. I found her by way of referral from a friend who sees her for color. Alexis spent some time chatting to make sure we had a plan in place before starting, asked great questions and communicated clearly. The products are great. My hair was beat up when I went in and I left with it soft and flowing. She is also the first stylist I have ever gone to who spent a good amount of time explaining how to maintain the "look" on my own which is awesome. In addition to her professionalism, she is just extremely pleasant

This is the first salon I've visited where I haven't had to explain why I like wearing my hair naturally curly as opposed to straightening it every day, the first salon where the stylist has a similar hair texture to my own, and the first salon to take my unique curl pattern into account.

After a search on Google for a natural organic hair salon I decided to attend to Bella Donna's
Speaking and expressing to Tammy what and how I was treating my hair before and what are my expectations for the final results after working with her.

I got the Japanese treatment twice and keratin treatment twice, I colored my hair with traditional hair color from regular hair salon multiple times.

I have been seeing Tammy for years now. I love my henna color. People always compliment me on my hair. I am so happy that I switched from chemical hair dye to natural plant-based products. Tammy is wonderful. It is always a pleasure to go to the salon. I drive from Temecula every four weeks to get my hair done. Alexis sometimes shampoos my hair. Both Tammy and Alexis are professionals, and very kind human beings! It's always a pleasure to see them.

Tammy works magic with plants! I never wanted to settle for harsh chemicals to get beautiful color, at Bella Donnas you don't have to. The place is cozy and has a friendly feel. I love it!

Do NOT go here! Talk about AWFUL people! Alexis turned my hair orange ... and for SOME reason I gave her another chance ... and then she turned it GRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! After turning it orange, I texted her, and she didn't reply ... then when I came back, she admitted she knew that she had turned it orange and blamed it on the toner being mislabeled ... and proceeded to say, "you should've called!" ... Then after she turned it gray, for SOME reason, I was STILL super nice and was going to let her have ANOTHER chance ... she said she would fix it before I left town four days later

I must admit, I was a little nervous about trying plant-based color, but after seeing the reviews on here and then trying Tammy for myself, I wonder now what on earth took me so long! I'll never go back to toxic color! The top of my head, where she's been using her plant-based color, is softer now than it's ever been and it looks great! Tammy definitely knows what she's doing and she's sweet, too.

I was delighted to find Tammy and this salon. Having read how toxic most hair dyes are, Bella Donna carries a line of completely plant based hair dyes---no chemicals. I have been there twice and couldn't be more pleased.
The coverage is perfect, and I love the color. I am a redhead, and have had some pretty awful results at other salons. The color lasts quite well.

I also love the haircut Tammy gave me. One of the best I have ever had.

The salon is peaceful and doesn't smell of chemicals.

I don't usually leave reviews, but based on the number of compliments I've gotten on my hair every time I see Tammy, I think a review is due. I got my hair cut and colored on Saturday and I'm STILL getting compliments today (Monday). This happens every time I go.

She REALLY knows what she is doing. Not only does she do AMAZING work (as evidenced by all of the compliments I receive), I've gotten such great advice on how I can best style my hair based off of my preferences (air dry, etc.). So grateful I found this cute and peaceful little place. I took an appointment online at Bella Donna's to color my hair with Alexis and she was awesome and so sweet! Alexis is just incredible to work with! She started coloring and cutting my moms hair a couple years ago and did such a great job that I had to come see her too! The color looks so natural and doesn't fade or turn red like other organic colors have in the past. Her cuts also look great and grow out beautifully too!

Plant-based color! Plant-based color! Plant-based color! Need I say more??? After years of permanent color to cover greys,my hair was thin and lifeless and my scalp was itchy and dry. Geez, hats off to my new stylist, Alexis. She was awesome with customer service, conversation, enthusiasm and SKILL. Following her styling my hair, I had a hot day full of sweating, napping, lying in the sofa & driving with the windows down. Yes, I may have been rocking out to some loud music! I can hardly believe Alexis did my hair yesterday morning and it still bounces around lightly with cascading layers falling gently into a striking mane. Tammy is a color expert extraordinaire! And she uses natural non-toxic plant based colors! I have naturally red hair that had a lot of grays mixed in. I found Tammy because she was the only hairdresser listed in San Diego County listed as being knowledgeable in Henna and plant based dyes.

They are very nice there but when I went for a root touch up, highlight and a trim the stylist missed a section right on the front of my head. I've never had a stylist miss the front before....sure maybe a few strands underneath weren't highlighted or something but never on the front of my head. I didn't notice it at first because she styled my hair and with my hair down and my side part I couldn't see it.
