I love being an orthodontist. Everyone deserves a beautiful smile, and that is exactly what we provide for our patients. We combine the latest technology with time-tested, conservative techniques to straighten teeth and align jaws. The result is a spectacular smile that lasts a lifetime. Dr. Adam Saylor was raised in Topeka, Kansas.
We are known for our legendary customer service and patient care, neither of which would be possible without our experienced and caring team. Bringing years of continued training and experience to the office every day, expect our team to greet you warmly, make you feel comfortable and promptly answer your questions.
Dr. Murphy attended St. Thomas College (now University of St. Thomas) in St. Paul, Minnesota, and continued his education at Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago. After graduation, he joined the US Army. After serving in the army, Dr. Murphy enjoyed a general practice here in Glen Ellyn with Dr. John Clancy.
At Saylor & Murphy Orthodontics, we base our practice on a foundation of respect. We treat our patients and their families as we would like to be treated. This means friendly service, the efficient use of your time, and treatment designed for maximum comfort. We keep all appointments on schedule, our reception area is relaxing, and we make sure to be as friendly on the phone as we are in person.

Best ortho there is! I highly recommend! The entire staff is kind, personable, and professional. I went here for Dr. Murphy when I was a kid for braces. 18 years later I came back for a small shift in my teeth that Dr. Saylor helped me with. No need to look elsewhere - this place and Dr. is the best!

What took me so long?
I’m 52 years-old, in month 17 of my 18 month treatment with Dr.Saylor and I am THRILLED with my results. My first consult I thought I needed Invisalign. Dr Saylor said if I was his sister he would recommend traditional braces. Say no more, braces it was. I chose clear braces, barely noticeable from a distance.
I’m like a kid in a candy store waiting for Dr. Saylor to say those seven magic words “let’s schedule the removal of your braces”!
My 14 year-old son is also a patient of Dr. Saylor’s, again, zero complaints.

This Ortho Office has hands down the happiest, hardest working group of people. They made the last 20 months as painless as possible and the end result speaks for itself. From day 1, I truly felt like everyone cared about me and my smile. The staff are incredible with knowing each patient as they come and and Dr. Adam Saylor will ALWAYS put his patients first. He was available 24/7 throughout the whole thing and was always very responsive. Thank you Saylor & Murphy for the great smile and incredible experience!
