I went in this past Friday in dire need of a last minute dress alteration. She was able to alter my dress for me to wear the next day and it looked fabulous. *Note* - Going forward I will prepare for alterations at least a week in advance and not wait until the last minute! I just moved to Elmhurst and will be exclusively using J's tailoring going forward.

I have used J's services twice now, so I figured I should leave a review! Simply put, both of my experiences were great. J's demeanor was both very professional and pleasant. She did an amazing job on the bridesmaid dress and swimsuit that I took to get altered. I wasn't in a rush, which allowed for her to communicate clearly when everything would be done and available for pickup. I would definitely recommend her shop to anyone!

This was my first tailor experience. I went here to get my 3 piece wedding suit tailored. I did my best to explain what I wanted done and she provided great suggestion that made the end product exactly what I was hoping for. Everything turned out great and within the timeframe I needed it done by. I would highly recommend.

Brought a dress in to have hemmed. Owner promised me the dress was to be ready the following Friday. When i came to pick it up at my appointment time, she hadn't even started on the dress. I had to come back on Monday to pick up dress. The hem was dragging on the ground. Very unprofessional, rude & poor work. Then owner called me after i picked up dress & left a 3 minute crazy message on my voicemail.

Jolanta is amazing to work with for wedding and bridesmaid dress alterations. She did both for me 7 years apart and her work is consistently excellent. I had SO MANY compliments on how well my wedding dress fit me and I felt amazing in it. Never had to fidget with it because it fit like a glove. She really knows what she’s doing.
