Services
I have owned this business since March of 2007. Since that time we have done a tremendous amount of remodeling and improving our facility, and we have expanded our afterschool program by adding another center just three blocks west of our current location. My experience includes more than 17 years in the child care field.
Safety and Security is our top priority at Berryhill Childcare. Please take a look at some of the procedures we have in place and contact us to schedule a tour. All staff receive a Level One, local and FBI, background screening before employment with our centers. Staff are trained in infant, child, and adult CPR and First Aid, communicable disease control, and child abuse recognition.
Our Mission at Berryhill Childcare is to create a learning environment for children 1 year to 12 years of age. This environment will be fun and exciting so they look forward to attending every day. We will offer a safe secure environment for parents, by including state of the art equipment, to give them the peace of mind, knowing their child is well cared for while they are away.
The most important goal of early childhood is to help children become enthusiastic learners. This means encouraging children to be active and creative explorers who are not afraid to try out their ideas and to think their own thoughts. Our goal is to help children become independent, self-confident, inquisitive learners.
One year old children are just starting to figure it all out; where to go and how to get there. As they get up on their feet and stretch their legs, their curiosity takes them even farther. They just begin to understand right and wrong, and display emotion that comes and goes very quickly. Listening to them began to try to use words to describe and request things is a joy.

Everyone from this daycare is wonderful.
I love their hand hygiene policy. (Kids must wash their hands prior to entering the classroom)
We are very happy with this daycare and would recommend it to other parents.

This place is wonderful! The director and staff are always very professional and nice. My 1 year old and 3 year old love going here and enjoy all the activities, art, and outdoor time that they get to have. They will always answer any questions I have about my kids and how their day was. And I’ve heard great things about the VPK program and can not wait for my oldest to be in it next year. I always see them cleaning and sanitizing when I drop my kids off and pick them up!!

I was suggested this location by a classmate, however my experience with Jesse was less than ideal. She was quite unpleasant when speaking with her on the phone. When I told her my child was allergic to peanuts, she said, " We cannot accommodate your child since we serve a lot of peanut butter here." In my mind I'm thinking what daycare feeds kids mainly peanut butter.
She also rushed me off the phone because her husband was calling and kept saying he is really sick. I prioritize my family, but she didn't have to be so rude. This daycare I would not recommend or suggest to anyone. In my opinion

BEWARE!! Dishonest, rude, unprofessional and down right nasty! My 4 year old attended VPK and afternoon care at this facility for a little less than a year. The owner/director, Jessie is extremely rude and never smiled. You felt very unwelcome anytime she was around. Even made a huge stink about a parent coming in with “dead grass on her shoes and getting it on her floor”. At the end of my child’s term there I did not give her, her MUCH wanted “written 2 week notice” and per the contract, if no 𝑵𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒆 is given, you’re charged 2 weeks tuition for non 𝑵𝒐𝒕

I have had two children attend VPK here in the past few years, and I have never had a problem or complaint. All the staff are very professional and they care about the children there. My youngest child will attend Berryhill Childcare for VPK too once she’s old enough.

I do not usually write reviews much less a bad one but I have witnessed the owners being rude and disrespectful to Parents and staff also screaming at the children on several occasions; if your child gets in trouble they make it sound like your child is the worst child in the whole school also the school is very understaffed for the amount of children attending. I had a child in both the regular daycare and the after-school care and since removing my kids they are much happier.
I would not recommend sending your child to either the daycare nor the after-school care.

My daughter went here years ago, and STILL talks about Mrs. Melanie and Mrs. Tiffany and how much she loves them. They really helped her get a start on reading, and she loved her experience here. Now my 3 year old son attends, and he loves Mrs. Collin so much that he started calling her Mama Collin, and Ms Rosa never lets him leave without a big hug. It's amazing to me that every single person up there greets him by name as well as all the other children! Amazing curriculum, they have lots of fun, and I love even if my child hurts themselves the tiniest bit, I get an incident report, so I never

I had the worst experience here at this daycare. My kids attended and the teachers were rude and the owner was the worst. She never made me feel unwelcomed. One of the teachers told me my son was so annoying. He would come home everyday saying the teachers were mean to him. Since i have pulled them out of there they have been much happier and loving there new school. I would not recommend sending your child there.
