Hurtis Oil Companies, Marathon, was honored Friday as the Wausau Region Chamber Small Business of the year in the retail/services division. Hurtis Heating and AC are great. My boiler began leaking last week. I contacted them on Friday, they responded on Monday and sent someone out the same day. They diagnosed the problem (heat exchanger) and they took the step to contact the manufacturer to check whether the part was still under warranty. I didn't know, as I just bought the house 6 months ago.
The part was still under warranty, they ordered it and came back on Wednesday to install it. Although they easily could have just tried to sell me a new boiler, they only suggested the work that was actually needed at this point.
